Ian is ready for the tournament!

I wanted to finish writing on the 15th, but I'm still working on the tournament scene itself. After hyping it up for so long, I felt I needed to devote some time and effort to make it as interesting, memorable and fun to play as I could. I'm probably over-complicating things more than I should (as is always the case, it seems) and I've been figuring out the narrative-driven fighting minigame as I go, but almost all pieces have fallen together already.

Aside from that, all the art is done on my part and in the hands of my colorist, so now's only a matter of finishing the tournament, playtest, polish and finish off the illustrations once the colorist sends back the images with the base colors. I hope I can release it in time, but either way, this update it's close to being done! I hope you'll have fun with it.

By now....i guess it is quite obvious to you that I love the dom/sub thing....though I am put off by outright rape. (The people who have attacked my Seymour-Lena preference may not realize that the thread I played involved mutual desire on both parts; I "played" in "skip mode" a different thread where I see what they mean by blackmailed and that route did not interest me.) In my Seymour-Lena route, I was maximizing Lena's intelligence and kept enjoying interactions with Seymour and Eva appropriately has misgivings "canned" into the codes.

So here is a question: I am curious to see Ian "insist" on that from Allison but I think he had too high a charisma rating; I played in mostly skip mode a route minimizing charisma but then he never got to the getaway with Allison. I really do not want to put too much time into this so a spoiler would be fine; just put it in a spoiler envelope. Thank you.

And finally, if your keyboard starts spontaneously typing reverse apostrophes even after you replaced the batteries (wireless) what is the fix?? I have combed through GGGB and curiously this issue is not addressed.

No stakes have been set as of yet. But Eva has been setting this up as an important upcoming event for some time. It could potentially be the starting point for Ian's bad boy turn that has also been hinted at and theorized was going to happen.

I wonder how the fighting minigame is going to work, I thought the tournament would just use the same mechanics as the previous fights in the game. But it sounds like EK is changing it up and adding some sort of narrative elements to it, plus you gotta think about how there has to be payoff for the training Ian has gone through, if you have maxxed out ians jiujutsu, maxxed out his physical stat, or just left him weak. Thats quite a bit to balance for this tournament.
