Check out Tlaero/TORA games, particularly Dreaming with Elsa with its sequels and short stories. It might be what you're looking for. They're much more linear compared to Eva's games, but the writing is as good since Tlaero is a professional writer. The only downside is they're HTML games where you need to sometimes click on a specific part of the image. There are Ren'Py remakes though released by someone else.
Eva is actually a good writer so I can see why he thinks he's the shit.
He's a tall, extremely hung, strong guy who can seemingly seduce most girls and seeing as he lives by himself has money. He's cocky but to me it makes sense, if you had all those qualities wouldn't you be a bit cocky?
I guess I'm a bit weird cause I don't hate any character in this game cause the story so far is written well.

Working as a mixologist can be a high paid job. If you work in upscale establishments in Manhattan wages combined with tips can give you a six figured income. It's also the best job in the world without beeing a rockstar/pornstar/*insert sexwork* if you want to get laid on a regular basis.
If this was what made him popular, Axels votes would have gone trough the roof. I don't think Jeremy ever has been portrayed to be wealthy. If my memory serves me right, this was one of those polls where voters could vote multiple times, so I suspect he along with Stan has some devoted fans.

To understand why some male characters are rated so high, you need to remember that Eva also asked in that poll "And which characters you love to hate the most?" Basically, it's not a poll for the most likeable people, but a poll for the best written/handled/integrated characters. Which are more entertaining. Which have the most potential for interesting story developments. Jeremy, Stan and Seymour are rated so highly precisely for that factor. They can change the status quo that is going to affect both Lena and Ian. There's also corruption factor.
I don't fully know what made him popular. I think it might be because of the corruption factor he represents on both sides. He can seduce Lena and encourage Ian to cheat so that could be why people like him, he has a wide scope in how he can affect the game.
My original comment was mostly explaining why his character in game would be cocky and those characteristics to me are a good reason why and that's why his cockiness doesn't annoy me because it makes sense for his character.
That explanation is as good as any. I've thought about this long and hard, too. Maybe I'm thick in the head but I just couldn't fathom it. It's still hard to fully grasp why he might've grown on some voters. (It's a lot to take in). Even looked up an article on BBC, though that was a stretch, since they don't cover adult games. The world may never know.
lol at the people butt hurt @ Jeremy. Allison showed her interest in Jeremy when she sent him that extremely provocative picture, even more provocative than the one she sent to Ian. Why again he should he abstain in flirting with her? Ian even did not ask him not to. Is Ian deep in love with her? His not. Jeremy has done nothing so far to show he is bad. He is yet to flirt with Lena despite he had many chances to.

Ian as a player can do exactly the same things Jeremy does including cheating and whoring himself. People here hate jeremy because they are possessive of their wifus and cannot process that this game has choice and consequences where the world does not revolve around please the MC every whim and fancy. They are used to harem games where one male exists and goes Pokémon catch them all style. Thankfully Evakiss does not write this type of trash.

It's funny how people who always talk about Jeremy, don't like the other side of the subject. Personally i can tell he isn't my favourite character in the story, however i want him to have his parts and involvement. I started to express my disliking about him, when people started being so obsessed with him. Yeah i like him to have a branch in which he fucks Lena,Cindy etc but not everything around him ffs. Also by general standards Axel is superior in this type of player character.

I don't see anyone dictating what she should or shouldn't write or saying the characters they don't like shouldn't be part of the story. Every story has heroes and villians and it's natural to root for some and not others. Clearly we're all fans of the game here.

Jeremy is a well written character as most of the ones in this game. I wouldn't hate his persona otherwise, he would be simply boring instead.
He likes to be a "player" when comes to dating and is usually a good friend with Ian and Wade (less so with Perry- friend).
He is also cheater, a coward and has some quite homoerotic "bro thing" with Ian about competing over the same woman and sending dick picks to him. Even if it wasn't Eva's intention to develop anything between them.

I think the whole point of threads dedicated to these games, is discussing, story, cast, predictions etc. Unless you just want to simp and shower love to the creators, if that's the case I think joining their patreon would be better. Also you should probably drop the "adjectives," no point in acting tough on a internet forum.
This is where I would disagree, and my problem with the character starts. If he gets a personality beyond having a big dick, I don't think I'll dislke him so much. As he is now he's just a porn trope. Jeremy was orginaly a white dude, but EvaKiss taught he was too similar to Kevin (GGGB), so she changed and made him black, but she didn't want him to be a stereotype like Tyrone(GGGB)... Well he became black Kevin with all the stereotypical traits of Tyrone.... He's Kevon.
