If I'm being honest I don't really know what EK wants to do with story at this point, is she doing this to keep story mysterious? might be. It is correct way to do things? may be? To me, and this is meer speculation, EK doesn't have confidence in her storytelling. It started off well at the beginning, but somewhere between Wade's rework and Stan's "rework" something happened. It almost seems she lost that fire and that confidence to stay true to her own version of her story and instead look what we have now. Pandered content, left field cameos, reworkings with no rhyme or reasoning. I also think part of the problem is that she is listening way too much to her patrons in their demands of things. Like it almost seems she "tries" to appease the 'vocal' elements but in essence continuely move away further and further from the story she wants just to keep that steady income.

I also think another part of the problem is that she pushes herself onto deadlines of 'wanting to put out and update in 4 months' or so. Not to mention her constant issue with writers block and what not. Personally, I think EK should take a step back from this game a bit and recalibrate herself. Stop trying to appease everyone. Cause hell, her appeasing has left those of us who have been waiting ever so patiently for Ian-Ivy to happen completely jaded from the game. Stop pushing herself on deadlines. If the update or chapter takes 5-6 months or more then so be it. Not to mention, not EVERY update has to have a whole bunch of sexual content. There are some VNs out there now, Projekt: Passion for example, that had maybe 1-2 lewd moments but had story and character progression. A bit of fan service or teasings is all well and fine, but lets be honest the story hasn't picked up. It's been dogged by cameos and pandered content. And I'm likely gonna be in the minority here, and likely some people trying to slap me around (jokes on them I'm into that shit), but I think ORS and EK need a bit of recalibrating here.

Yup those are Cameos. Every character is cameo except GGGB cast. EK mentioned it in some Q&A forgot which one was it. She didn't specifically named them but right after that Q&A we got these cameos.

So, Elli might be limited to cameo only, but EK is keeping track of her variables, but she did it with others cameo characters too and used only to tease Ian in specific routes and Elli variable was also used to tease IIRC.
So, can't say how much part they will play in the story.

I doubt Elli is a cameo. Character is far too hot (no offense to patreons, but Occam's razor/Law of averages). Unless this is another situation like DasHole's where a patreon's designed character was awarded a spot of some sort. But I doubt that.

Probably to some effect. Though I would say more one protagonist (Lena) given how much Lena gets in terms of everything handed to her content wise while Ian, naturally is lacking. Sure, Lena is EKs likely favorite in a sense, they are going to get more of the screen time so to speak. But again, EK is the one who decided to go with two protagonists this round. If she was smart (which is questionable) she would have had this story already planned out in a sense. Or atleast a true general theory. Thats not the case here. It's all hodgepodged on a whim storytelling with pandered content ad nausaum.

In all likelyhood IF EK were to do a third game, she's not gonna do two protagonists again. She's already sinking this ship metaphorically as is with the story and such.

I'm thinking chapter 12 is focused on the beach party and mma, 13 will be to cement relationships and 14 will have them move in together/career focused. I just have no idea how this will be done to maximize the drama for the future payoff.

Most of the drama seems like it will either be connected to whether Lena got with Ian or Axel. Or Wade's relationship with Cindy. I'm having a hard time coming up with anything for the other pairings (well besides Mike).

MMA is done for Ch12 now the focus is on Ian's part of beach and dealing with Lena's debauchery + other sexual encounters with Emma, Lena, Holly + Sexting with Cindy(I really believe this will be topless sunbathing on yacht and depending upon path AxelxCindy will happen of not). Than Lena's POV which may include another round of slutting before beach trip and will merge with Ian's content + Holly and/or Emma content on beach. Than Epilogue will raise the questions about IanxLena and WadexCindy and CH13 will expand on that further after breakup or put up in both IanxLena and WadexCindy.

I do agree with you about burnout. I believe writer's block is the result of this "when you've 2 protagonists and buncha content + giving Poll characters content even if they appear once in polls, stagnant story no progression since ch10 making ch11 and ch12 filler chapters as of now, bringing cameos and including them in main story than giving them content too. In amidst of all this, not to omit the fact that you've to put up with scammers and on top of it release the said quicker updates + reworking IanxIvy, Wade, Stan and Ch11".
