Exactly, they are all in the game. EK could have made the MC anyone she wanted, and we got a an aspiring sci fi writer...
I would have preferred to be a writer (sci fi or not) than any of the other jobs you mentioned so she got it right with me at least. That said, the implementation of the writing process could be better, the right options for each genre feel kind of random.

But I think the aspiring writer with the publishing industry day job fits well with some of the game themes and other characters. It's the artistic freedom, integrity and truth vs the compromise and climbing the industry ladder because you also want the money and success (there's a hint of this when the right choice for getting a promotion seems to be recommending not to publish a sci-fi book that Ian seems to like but thinks it's too dense for the mainstream). It also goes well with introducing someone like Holly, Minerva and a "villain" like Seymour.

No, def this game will have 18 chapters at least I personally think it should have around 21-24 chapters. Like it already ch 13 and the story feels like its just taking off, characters like Ivy, Alison, Cindy and more does even have proper label to their relation with Ian, so unless Eva is planning rush the story I think its a bit of stretch to say the game will be completed within 15-16 chapters.
15, max. It's kinda obvious she's tired of these characters and the story. If you play a certain way you already can come close to reaching cap for one or two attributes. Ivy is going to be a one time thing. Major love routes for Ian (Lena and Holly) are mostly resolved in the last chapter, there's not much of anything left. Alison's love arc can be concluded in one date, same as Cindy. MMA is going to be shelved, I think. At this point the garden is not only crumbling and too spread out, but there's a family of raccoons shitting in the corner. A lot of the stuff is going to be axed, and not in a satisfying manner, so it's a race to the end, like the last seson of GoT, when writers closed their eyes and let go of the steering wheel, hoping they're gonna land on something.

Yeah,is very obvious EK is burn out,i dont see her working in this game for 8-10 more years to reach that 20 chapters original plan.
I think shes going to do 16 chapters like she said a while ago.

Only 16 chapters rather than 20 seems more and more likely.

- Chapters became longer compared to the beginning of the game, so its realistic to condense the remaining plotpoints in few chapters rather than spread them out. That way, the early estemation of 20 chapters still makes sense, its just that the content of 10 chapters will be included in 5 chapters.

- Skill levels are close to reaching the maximum (assuming an average run, by fucking everything we can already reach 9 if not 10). If we assume half a level per chapter, then it leads towards 16 chapters -
Chapter 10 - 7
Chapter 11 - 7,5
Chapter 12 - 8
Chapter 13 - 8,5
Chapter 14 - 9
Chapter 15 - 9,5
Chapter 16 - 10

- Initially I assumed that a few plotpoints will open up the game even more, as in winning the book contests opens more plotlines, Lena becoming famous etc. Or Ian/Lena moving out will be its own section of the game just as in GGGB, with different flats and roommates.
Now, I suspect these developments will only be at the end of the game and only elaborated on in the very big epilogue.

- The plotlines mostly have run their course and lead to more or less obvious outcomes. Ian/Lena are already a pair/broke up/remained friends, most partners require their finishing touches (sealing the deal with Alison, Cindy breaking up etc.). As stubborn as people fantasize about Lena becoming corrupted and ending in multiple gangbangs, this is just not that sort of game like its predecessor.

- Eva is burned out of this game and wants to make a new, different one. We are at 4,5-5 years, another 4 years would be wild.

That's good the main character works for you. That is some good side content that everyone has their preferences.

for the later commentary regarding the Holly, Minerva, and villian seymore type characters, these could all still exist in a different fork. I don't see their role as "innocent/shy" or "hot boss" or "wealthy villain." Those types could all exist in an environment where Ian was in an industry that was known for partying and illicit behavior than that of the writing community stereotypically known as introverts. Then again I'm sure Stephen King and George RR Martin are just drowning in

In game play, Im glad to hear some people like the Ian as he is.

I suppose in a different type of example Ian could have the following choices:

Ian as he is, Choices:
"Go work out?"
"Go work on your sci-fi novel?"

The workouts are fun but working on the sci fi novel is just picking a card.
Vs.

Ian as a Model Promoter, Choices":
"Go work out?"
"Go pick between the following models for the next show"

Now the job is actually part of his role in the game, not a subtraction from it.

Even with Ian as a Model Promoter, he could look the same and EK could still have them have the same general demeanor, Ian has that "nice guy (finishes last)" kind of vibe. Those things could all still be there, with just more engaging game play.

Quite literally skill issue. You can very well play Ian as a chad fuckboi who nails anything that moves, makes women beg for his sperm and spits in mouths of porn stars while he fucks them. There's no "nice guy" vibe if you take him on such route.

Not even possible logicly how ??? Unless we get super werid cliffhanger ending for our red string 2

I mean the relationships are established so the ( corruption ) just started

With chars like gillian or jess we dont even have build up for relationship no idea how that fits into 2 - 5 chapters no way.... that this will work I think it will be between 18- 22 chapters too if we dont want rushed things ...

Gillian could very well be a endgame choice. E.g. near the end of the game Ian is feed up, comes back to Gillian (who may have reached out to Ian because she has issues with Mike), they have a talk to resolve their issues and try new, with the epilogue doing half the work.
Jess was always a side-character and her route isn't terribly complicated. Ian plays the therapist for two more dates, then sex, then epilogue. Entirely plausible considering the current content.

Not every character gets a route devoted throughout the entire game.

My theory for how Gillian will be handled is that it will be like how Jess was handled. Your decisions as Ian and Lena can directly change the past and how characters behave. The same thing happened again recently with Lena's past changing based on her stats.

With Gillian, I think if Ian moved on and is a chad he will be able to "win" her over in the endgame, foreshadowed by her wanting to have coffee with Ian. Then if Ian moved on, but doesn't show interest, they can either stay strangers or have a mutual friendship after moving past their issues.

Finally the last one is the cuck route where Ian continues dreaming about Gillian getting fucked. You have to wonder why EK would include cuck dreams if they were only going to stay a fantasy, other fantasies characters have turn out to be true, like Lena dreaming of succumbing to Axel and it happening. Right now these dreams seem like completely Ian's insecurities and not accurate to reality, but maybe that changes based on what Ian thinks is reality. If his choices can change the past, then why wouldn't they be able to change how malicious Gillian was when cheating. And if there are different versions of Gillian that cheated with varying levels of reluctance and regret, why wouldn't they be different in the present day. Then when the more malicious Gillian finds out about Ian's dreams it will open up a Gillian cuck route, where she acts similiar to the Lena on the cheating+cuck route.

This lets vanilla or maledom players have a route with Gillian without all the extra baggage and cuck Ian players have the foreshadowed cuck route which at the moment seems impossible with our understanding of Gillian. It would also remove the issue of Lena, who is player controlled, being the only cuck route for Ian, without pushing kinks onto the vanilla crowd that wants to romance/bang Gillian as getting the Gillian dreams requires pretty active cuck Ian playstyle that the vanilla players most likely haven't done, instead of all Gillian choices leading to the cuck route.
