Release cycle is a big step up patreon-relations-wise vs the agonizing 7+ month waits we used to get. Finally played the update and I don't get why people hate it. I mean it's really short but what did ya'll honestly expect? It wasn't bad nor good it was like a fart in the wind. It came and went.

GGGB and ORS have very different vibes and tones. GGGB is larger in scale from a narrative pov but has less depth with it's characters while ORS is smaller in scale but with more character depth. Same with the corruption aspect, GGGB goes for a more typical avn/porn level approach to it's corruption while ORS does a more subtle, slow but realistic enough corruption to it's characters. I mean Lena just turns into a slut who has preferences while the MC of GGGB can literally turn into a gang's cum dump, a celebrity bimbo or snow bunny xD

It was kind of expected, taking a turn to the more sensible approach to characters and their development, the game (keeping in mind the two protagonists) was taking a shot to be times more complex and ambitious than the previous entry, even if you take in consideration just one POV. It was probably a lot of fun for the developer at first, but then halfway through, someone realized just how much work it would actually take to get to the finish line.
I don't dislike writers. I'm an avid reader (and writer). I just find it a very poor choice for an interactive erotic novel that forces diversion in the story rather than wrapping together. i.e. Lena's job and life matches within the erotic novel, Ian's job is a total diversion from the erotic novel.
EK could have given Ian ANY job. ANY JOB.
Ian could have been the EXACT same Ian everyone on here likes to argue for, just with a job that plays with the game rather than removes from it.
the game is filled with interesting jobs that the player would like to embody. DJ, Photographer, promoter, someone running a modeling agency... and instead we get to play as a sci-fi writer... WTF?

I read that the majority don't like Setmour's route, I must be one of the few then. It seems to me, together with Alex, that they can give different alternatives to what the other characters can offer, but as always they are tastes.
