Despite my general dissapointment with the drip feed of updates... I am going to defend EK here... These mini-updates weren't created for general population play. They were created for the patreon fans who 'wanted to be part of the games creation.' I would prefer playing the game in large(r) chunks though I am not sure the peanut gallery of game players being upset with minor updates can be fixed.
If there weren't the minor updates, it might just be as everyone has described-- an update per year. Which would allow for more game play but still slow in that there would not be a conclusion to the game with that menthod for several years.
The reality of creation of a game like this (without major funding) is that it will take as long as it does. If you were to remove everyone's drip playing of various routes, and start everyone over fresh, the game play would be significantly different. The description of this update as "Just a bunch of lewed scenes" wouldn't be described as such because it would have been released within the context of the rest of the game as well. Players wouldn't be able to burn through each path to play them all.
This is just the way it is with solo creators. Our expectations need to be tempered. (ESPECIALLY IF RECEIVING THE GAME FOR FREE). Those who are paying for the patreon are giving everyone on this thread access to the game by paying for the creators work.
If you are upset with the updates... maybe best to just wait until enough work on the game has been completed to make it enjoyable to play.
