I heard that we will see 8-10 more chapters and the game will be completed. Well, assuming that a chapter takes almost 6-8 months, this means a very long time. Greetings to my future self, who will be the father of 2 children. I hope your interest in this game has not ended. And I hope ian gave ivy the cock she deserved.
I intend to spend my retirement playing chapter 12. I will give the playing legacy to my granchildren who hopefully will see the end of the game. I feel a bit like Moses here. And I am not even middle aged.

Never did that myself, but if I remember correctly, you have to be nasty to them, so you will have the option to steal from them.
You don't have to be 'nasty' to them. The only requirement is that Lena doesn't offer to help when she hears they plan on closing the cafe. Then, she will have three opportunities to steal money. She can do it two times without consequences, but the third time Ed catches her and tells her Molly has been suspecting her.

BTW I always steal from them on my bad/slut Lena playthroughs :p

Cool, I'll try it sometimes. Thanks.

Damn, I didn't even know Lena could do that

geez is still not update? wtf, just another summertime saga
At least DarkCookie livestreams his drawing sessions from time to time. Now with the inconsistent "weekly" status reports, the endless excuses of sickness, wedding, funeral, writer blocks, or even just vacations, and the annoyingly long radio silences and disappearances after making announcements such as "I have to release it soon for my mental health", or "I can see the light at the end of tunnel", or “wait is almost over” kind of things. This game starts to give me a "Milfy City” vibe......

I'll say it again, considering the fact that last chapter took almost 9 months, this one is actually an improvement. 6 months for Eva is lightning fast.

The “weekly” status reports should either be posted weekly or simply be renamed to “status report” whenever they do come out (it’s very rarely more than two weeks). I’ll give you that.

But the game’s been in production for more than three years, and I think Eva has taken a real vacation once—while still doing some work. She went to two weddings last year (and brought some of the work with her there as well!), and people are still butthurt about it. She admitted she had gotten less work done once this year because a close family friend had died. And yes, she struggled with writer’s block for a while, but with six years of writing GGGB and ORS, that will obviously happen at some point. Most of the time it seems like people on here expect porn game developers to be machines who just work non stop, and cut out all forms of social life to serve the people pirating their work.

The “promises” you refer to are obviously intentionally vague (and not written in the form of promises) because it’s probably extremely difficult to put a timeframe on the last part of the process. Things are being tested to check if something unexpected shows up. You obviously don’t know in advance how much time those unexpected things will take.

And concerning this episode: It will be about seven months between the release of the last Alpha and this. There’s 17 scenes in the new episode, and in that time we’ve also gotten the Prologue (3 scenes, I think?) and the very lengthy Minerva scene in the final version of the last episode. So we’re talking 20+ lewd scenes in those seven months. I can’t remember the exact number of scenes in the previous episodes, but I’m pretty sure this is at least on par with previous episodes, even though the writing for obvious reasons has gotten more and more complex.

The last update for ORS was in Febuary, 4 months ago, assuming the new chapter releases this month, which it should, then thats 4 months with 11 status reports. Dark Cookie on the other hand has been promising a 'tech update' for about a year now and the last content update for Summertime Saga was in October and since October there have been only 2 status reports for Summertime Saga. Anyone seriously saying the situations are comparable is just armchair dev'ing with no creative experience.
