Because

And the "but he has money so he doesn't have to" is just going to send every actual rich guy who hears that in a fit of laughter. :sneaky:
yeah, but his characterization doesn't look like he's obsessed with money? I don't know, I am not American capitalist so I don't understand the hate when he hadn't shown any characterization as you describe.

I agree that he doesn't really seem like a person who could do such thing, but it doesn't make Lena who accepts what Stan tells her without checking any less naive. I think it's one spot where Louise scoffing at her for blind compliance and just accepting the deal that she was no part of, isn't entirely unwarranted.

Lena and Louise are free to ask the landlord themselves and Stans cover would be blown immediatly.

I really don't see much value discussing this. Increasing rents add to Lenas financial struggle and the overarching effect urbanism has on the people. To have this plot point as a scheme for Stan magically becoming a blackmailer just goes nowhere.

I said nothing about blackmail so dunno where that comes from. But Stan turning out to be a little crook trying to screw over his flatmates (particularly if he isn't getting along with them or after being spurned by Lena) could potentially add to his characterization, which is for the time being pretty limited. Something this thread mentioned multiple times.

I wonder if Lena or Ian’s living situation will change in a future update? Like an Ian who has a bad relationship with Perry or a Lena who has a bad relationship with Stan would probably be planning to gtfo.

There is a possibility, since the previous GGGB had multiple new locations for the MC to live in.

Perry's character is a waste of time. It's so annoying with his stuttering and his personality is so boring and lifeless. I wish there was a way to isolate him like it's possible to isolate some characters by ignoring them.
Just cuck him by taking Emma for yourself and bully him at every opportunity. You even get the added benefit of not having to see the most disgusting CG in the game

Is it possible for Ian/Lena to get into a serious relationship even if she previously fucked Jeremy in Louise's bed? It seems that if she's involved with Jeremy, she turns down Ian's request to commit (she uses that excuse when she's thinking about it). I'd rather see her commit to Ian and then cheat on him with Jeremy, Marcel, Jack, Robert, et al.
