Some of the persistent folder names don't match the game name, they are under a different name.
If anything, the porn logic dictates that a cat fight inevitably leads to some hate sex.
out of currisity I deleted everything in the RenPy folder. Same errors.
I redownloaded the game, and still getting it.
Not sure if it matters, but the download has this folder already (redstring-1574621830)

I have no clue then. Generally deleting the persistent files solves most of the script errors.
Isn't that kind of the rule for any porn directed at straight men? Does the broken heart icon means the path with a character is permanently closed? Or can i make the relationhip work again?
Well Eva and Ash had a friendship that ran deep and further back than her relationship with David. So that certainly adds some context in my opinion. Also, Eva doesn't necessarily express interest in other women outside of Ash, she can be coerced into a threesome, but she isn't exactly thrilled with the idea. Additionally, there is some trepidation from Eva, they have several conversations about that night before it escalates to sex. Even after Ash and Eva have sex, Eva is conflicted about how it will affect David.
So all of this is to say, it's a lot more nuanced that I think you're giving it credit for. Because it was a porn game it felt like it happened very quickly, since EK isn't about to write all of the actual nuances and conversations that would happen in real life if a kiss like that awoke something in two people.

You can also be closed off a route without a broken heart but that requires you to never get the person's heart so there is nothing to break, exception being the MC's to a degree.

Ashley and Eva are very friendly from their first meeting, hugging, sharing nudes, details about their boyfriends, its a typical best friends relationship.
ORS lesbian pairings are all established early on: Lenca can cuddle with Louise and watch her during sex, she can check out Ivy in their very first scene and the two of them fooled around as teenagers. She adores Hollys book and can masturbate thinking about her etc.
If there were several hints throughout the game that Lena is sexually attracted to Cindy, it would make sense, but there isn't. There isn't a line about jealousy, acknowledging Cindys beauty, worries that Axel claims her because she is attractive etc. Instead her comments and thoughts are ranging from neutrality to annoyance to condescending and spitefulness.
I suppose its possible to rush a developement that late in the game, considering that we also have Ian/Louise and Lena/Wade. But even there there were the occasional line a few chapters before about Ian/Lena acknowledging their attractiveness.
Most pairings are usually proper foreshadowed, which is why they make sense. Lena/Cindy isn't.

Chapter 13 Status Report
After finishing the prologue, I’ve continued making progress with writing the new chapter and working on the art. The illustrations for the next release are already in the hands of the colourist, and new backgrounds have been commissioned. I’m also working on illustrations for future releases, but right now, the focus is on finishing Seymour’s section. As for that, I think I’m over 50% done. Let me share with you some of the behind-the-scenes process:
I'm sharing this excerpt because it’s simply a reflection on the events that took place in the last chapter. These kinds of passages are common and necessary as they provide coherence to the events and the character’s psychological and emotional response to them. In practice, it’s just a summary of the current state of the plot, but they involve a significant level of complexity. In this case, Lena reflects on her relationship with Ian and the events that took place in the last chapter. The key is to consider all the variables that need to be included and write an internal monologue that is coherent and highlights the essential points of the character’s thoughts and emotions, while avoiding excessive length or repetition. What makes it even more challenging is finding a way to weave the different segments into the same scene, allowing one reflection to lead naturally into the next, and then bringing them back together so the scene and the train of thought continue smoothly. It’s also crucial to choose the right moment to introduce these reflections, think about what needs to be reinforced, and determine how the character should react to each possible event. What I find especially challenging is that I can’t write any scene in a linear or straightforward way. I have to keep every possible outcome in mind, decide what information to provide, how to write it concisely and appropriately, and ensure all the loose ends are tied up so the scene makes sense in all its possible variations. This makes it impossible to write a scene from start to finish in one go, as my mind has to constantly cycle through parallel and interconnected possibilities. That’s why writing a section like this can take me an entire day, sometimes even longer.
In any case, I'm aiming to finish writing by the end of this month, and once the new art is delivered to me I will put this shorter update together and release it as soon as I can, while already making progress on the one to come after this one. As always, I'll keep you posted!
