Holly is not Louise. At least Lena doesn't think of them in the same way. To her, Louise is an old friend, but once they hook up, she basically becomes her sex toy. She treats her very similar to how she treats Robert, in a very selfish, almost disregarding way, as if she's annoyed by her most of the time. Holly on the other hand is her favorite author, a very shy and kind person, and Lena can't help but act protective of her, like she's her younger sister. Holly is a very impressionable person (at least by default), so trying to hook up with her while dating Ian at the same time might hurt/confuse Holly and would definitely make it weird for their friendship with Ian. That doesn't mean that Holly is that way, just how Lena thinks of her. There's still some character development to be done.

Lena is willing to fuck around with other guys and Louise wile being with Ian (by the players choice), but not with Holly, I think this is whats bothers me. I liked the option to be with Holly wile being with Ian because now she can understand that feeling of "I cant stop this", but now her mind is "I can do this because I just broke up with Ian, now I habe the moral high ground..." kinda... But this is just how I see it.. does it make any sense?

Oh sure, I don't disagree with what you said here. GGGB kinda feels like a sandbox game in that sense, cause from the very start you can freely choose what kind of person Ashley is, whereas many of us would like ORS to be more realistic and less extreme.

I mean I get it they are the two Main Characters and most likely they will be endgame in the "canon" ending but I still hope there are other ways to end the Game with different outcomes for both of them.

I really hope not, Ian and Lena are the most boring pairing in the game. Specially now that Lena and Holly finally hooked up, the highlight of chapter 8 to me.

If Ian and Lena were to end up together in the end regardless of player input I'd honestly write Eva and kindly ask for my money back.

All the best to her story writing, but one of the selling points of ORS is the idea of your choices mattering and Lena/Ian being the only couple able to end up romantically with each other would be an extreme downgrade from GGGB. The romantic routes, Eric and Jack especially, are rewarding in that game because you have to pursue them. They aren't a default outcome.

Yeah exactly I'm with you that's why I really hope the Game doesn't push them too much. Holly ist the best Example because for me she is a better Option for Lena AND Ian than the IanxLena Pairing But Ian in general has really good Options with a lot of Potential like Alison and Cindy. Even Minerva and Emma could get interesting in the future.

I think Lena's Options could be better but Holly is definitely the best one so far but I'm also excited if LenaxJeremy get some serious development.

I fully agree, but isn’t this an extremely hypothetical scenario? The game did admittedly push the Ian/Lena relationship a lot at the beginning, and still does to some extent, but the amount of branching and variables makes me think we’ll likely see more potential endings than in GGGB rather than fewer.

Restricting the potential outcomes of the game because there’s two – potentially romantically involved – protagonists, would represent a very, very poor handling of the story, and I absolutely can’t see a writer as talented as Eva doing that.
