Is there any new dialogue besides the Emma/Charles stuff?A lot of the dialogue between characters was added so that it wasn't just sex scenes. Which is nice.

Wait, what? I ran a diff between beta and alpha build of this chapter, and (other than Emma scene) there's like, literally 4 lines changed if that, and it was script conditionals not dialogue.A lot of the dialogue between characters was added so that it wasn't just sex scenes. Which is nice.
Shes having fun with Axelno Cindy, no fun... see ya all next time
Surely Axel/Cindy would make a great couple where she would be loyal and he would stop being a jealous toxic possessive who always thinks about Lena, right?Shes having fun with Axel![]()

Well perhaps a bunch of dialogue wasn't added, but bugs that was causing the dialogue to be skipped was cleaned up? Alpha for me was basically only sex scenes, which is why I was fairly disappointed with the alpha release. But playing through the Beta I got a bunch of dialogue between Ian and Lena, Stan made some appearances outside of yelling about Jeremy, Holly reflected more on her relationship with Ian, Ivy called a loving Lena a prude when talking about the Holly Hole scene which I didn't get the first time.Wait, what? Could you clarify what added dialogue do you mean..? (i'm now irrationally concerned that maybe i overlooked those additions somehow and missed out ;/
Im sure some people will disagree with this but for me this is the negative part of playing this game now,EK is always changing things, adding new dialogue, new music, new texts with images,etc...makes you feel like you are missing out if you are not starting new saves all the time.Well perhaps a bunch of dialogue wasn't added, but bugs that was causing the dialogue to be skipped was cleaned up? Also, and this is less likely to be noticed. But Ian's opening thoughts at the start of the game when before he gets chewed out by Minerva has been altered. There were also some changes to dialogue between Lena and Seymour from the previous update. And, as usual I'm sure several other small changes to conversations and thoughts have been changed throughout several chapters.
This entire scene from the opening is new to me, I didn't have it during my 13.1 playthrough.

Edit: Actually, holy cow! So much of chapter 1 has been changed. Cindy arrives after Ian to the apartment now, and has a much more engaged conversation with Ian. Perry immediately comes across as more prissy and entitled. There is an entire scene of Ian walking home from his internship with his thoughts.
I wouldn't expect anybody to start fresh as often as I do, I don't actually make saves at decisions, instead I start fresh every time. But I do think it's worth it to at least start a fresh play-through every couple of chapters at least to see all of these types of changes that EK does put in throughout. It does show the amount of effort being put into the game, and that even if it might not be readily apparent if, for example, you only played the Seymour update last time; that a lot has changed in the earlier chapters, even if the Seymour update is pretty regarded on this site as very short and disappointing.Im sure some people will disagree with this but for me this is the negative part of playing this game now,EK is always changing things, adding new dialogue, new music, new texts with images,etc...makes you feel like you are missing out if you are not starting new saves all the time.
Im jealous of all the people who are going to play this game for the first time when is completed![]()
Def. Ian x Lena staying 100% loyal.So... what do you guys consider to be the ultimate/canon playthrough? Ian and Lena 100% loyal to each other? Ian, Lena and Holly? Ian and Lena sleeping with max possible amount of characters? Setting up relationships and hookups between other characters as much as possible?
Ian and Lena definitely together, considering how much the narrative pushes them. Holly as the connecting inofficial third main character is likely best served to be together with them as well, her other options are lacking.So... what do you guys consider to be the ultimate/canon playthrough? Ian and Lena 100% loyal to each other? Ian, Lena and Holly? Ian and Lena sleeping with max possible amount of characters? Some people would say having Ian and/or Lena suffer horrible fates is the canon path.So... what do you guys consider to be the ultimate/canon playthrough? Ian and Lena 100% loyal to each other?
