Stan's problem is that there is really not much interesting that can happen in his path.

The issue with the Stan character is that his purported hobby -- photography -- is the same as Axel's. There's stuff that you could put in a Stan arc with photos and exhibitionism, but you're already doing that with Axel. Stan needs something to make him interesting that isn't photography, drawing, writing or music -- that's all stuff the other guys do.

Easy-ish thing you could do is make him a wanna-be filmmaker. Trade his still camera for a movie camera. You'd have to make him a little more confident, but you could keep his character model and you'd have a lot of potential sideplots if Stan was trying to get a movie financed and shot.

Another alternative is double down on his nerdiness and make him some kind of hacker who into stuff on the dark web. That wouldn't fit the goal of trying to make another "good guy" option, but if you wanted to go for a hardcore corruption path, similar to the gang route in GGGB, that could be the avenue.

So I think you can do some things with Stan that aren't a complete re-write from scratch. You have to start by giving him some kind of core competency that makes him interesting and sets him apart from the other dudes.

I think Stans only purpose was to be that fat sloth for Lena to either redeem or just to be the wobbly ugly dude for people who likes that. But the "fat bastard" trope is better used for older, more villainous guys like gggb's Arthur. I personally won't miss him, but I hope he doesn't become just another "normal" dude, I kinda liked the idea of Lena using him for money and as a free photographer, without ever giving anything in return.

Someone on Patreon already threw the idea out there, but it would be a good idea to release some sort of version 0.9 "revamped" when she's done with this overhaul session.
Apart from that, I'm all for improvements to the game. And to me, Stan felt more like a plot device than a character on his own. Definitely curious to see how Eva intends to make him more interesting!

Thats what I think. It looks like Seymour is cutting Lena from her means of income to get her under his wings.
So if Lena refuses his offer, she has to find some cheap DIY solution instead and here Stan might play his role.

I remember the 2 protags on this kinda making things funky, but on replaying it it's much better than I remembered and I think having some clear goals helped it feel a bit more focused.

I'm liking how things are going with the male MC, no complaints there... I'm all about hooking up with the hot blonde that your friend is dating, since she first appeared on the screen I knew that's what I wanted and I'm glad I'm making progress there. Her club outfit was insane too... I may even replay it from the beginning at some point and go full simp and not even fuck the black girl or the boss and whoever else as I'm doing atm.
I had wanted to sluttify the bookish girl with him too, but my hands were tied as I'm obviously not going to give up blondie and the female MC seems to be doing well there anyhoo.

For the female MC things are a bit more restricted and I've had some frustrations there. My basic goal is to wife up Ivy and get as much strange puss along the way as possible.

Not really thilled with the idea of having to start again from the start (since I have a lot of saves and routes mapped out), but ehh, if it's for the betterment of the game, I guess that's that.

Oh, also, I hope she don't go the 'big dick' route with Stan, or at least not in terms of length - average length but girthy might be interesting for a change (I can't recall seeing that in many games, and girth is ftw). If there's too many characters with horse dicks it makes the characters who have said dicks feel less unique, and IMO there's no need for a big dick if he's an interesting character and/or knows how to work with what he's got anyway.

That could arguably be true in a single-path story, but this is a multi-path VN where player choices are key. Stan provides an alternative path for photo-shoots for a Lena that wants nothing to do with Axel + is getting other opportunities taken away from her by Seymour.

Of course, this may change with Eva's overhaul.

First of all, it's Evakiss. Lena is the female PC. That's a simple and gross overstatement. Stan's storyline is getting reworked. That is a handful of scenes at most. Calm yourself.
