I'm extremely pessimistic regarding the beach episode because it includes so few characters. Beach episodes tend to be fairly elaborate in most porn games, so I'm surprised how restricted the cast is for this one. Ian, Perry, Wade and Emma, so only one hot character. Lena and Holly improve it, but its still limited, considering how many other characters we are missing out for typcial beach content. Its still servicable for Lena/Holly and especially Emma content, but I expected more. Its time for Lena and Ian to include Emma in their spiel officially.
That said, if this would start Wade content and Lena can make a move on him, I would come around. As of now, the inclusion of Wade seems extremely pointless, even more so since Cindy isn't around. At least Perry could make a move on Emma or walk on Ian/Lena again to solidify the slowly developing voyeur route, so he could have something to do.

Not necessarily -- in GGGB in particular going to the beach with Jack is fairly straightforward and brief affair.
I think it's also for the better, since going by the previous update from EK even the current setup has so many possible iterations the progress on it was pretty slow. I can't imagine trying to do it with even more factors in the mix.

That was more of a scene and spontaneous half a day trip than an entire episode.
The beach trip was talked about multiple times and hyped. The prologue even ends with a strong cliffhanger, transition and Perry further hyping it up.
Lena wants to press Ian about Cindy since the latest epilogue, this would be the best time. Either Wade hearing about it or Lena deciding to tell Wade herself could lead to scenes with him. Either to comfort him or to manipulate him.
Realistically i don't think it'd lead to this sort of thing, at least not if Ian has stopped himself early on and didn't turn things into full affair. From Lena's side, i mean. And Wade would be probably far too busy trying to rearrange Ian's face and/or crying together with Perry about it.

The manipulative approach would be Lena pointing out how unfairly Cindy treats Wade and how Lena is more or less sure that Cindy cheats Wade with Axel or "other guys". If the Wade Cindy relationship score is very low, he may start considering other options. Otherwise, he just remains the inactive depressed lump with no agency for the entire game who never takes one decision.
Wade and Ian fight can also happen, if only to give the fighting gameplay more value. At this stage Ian can crush Wade though.
The comfort approach can happen after Wade and Ian fought and Ian may be gone and/or Wade is beaten up and needs someone to comfort with. Lena may also have broken up with Ian then because of Cindy, so Lena and Wade share that mentioned bond over.

If it is a fighter Ian, then Wade will be the one rearranging his face sadly. Ian literally took down a fighter in Jeremy's weight division. It will probably be the latter. Non-fighter Ian, I can agree with that, he will be beaten to a pulp by Wade.
