I think that at this point the developer of this game must be tired of receiving praise for such good quality work. But... this kind of thing never hurts. What can I say about this that hasn't already been said? Love it. Fascinates me. It makes me fall in love. It's what I felt the first time I tried GGGB but intensified to a thousand. I love everything, the characters, what happens with them ... Something that I really like is the fact that (SPOILER) at a certain point in the story opens a way for us to fuck Jeremy (I love those scenes where we are texting him and sending photos and all, i like it very much), personally I love this, being that Jeremy is a friend of Ian although Lena and Ian "are nothing" according to Ian, but still... That betrayal feels, and I love that. Maybe in the future I would like to see something happen like Ian finds photos of jeremy fucking Lena and that is a kind of "message" to the player that Jeremy fucks or has the option to fuck all the girls in the game, I don't know... I would like to see that. Nothing more to say, excellent story, characters... I will look forward to more updates, highly recommended

EvaKiss is sincerely unrivalled in putting together complex, complete and rewarding visual novels. I was a big fan of good girl gone bad and did not think it could be surpassed. I had no faith dual protag would be viable but the way EvaKiss interweaves the stories is truly memorable. I can not recommend this game enough! Extremely excited for this project to be completed!

This is a game that I have been meaning to play for a long time, and have had a tab if it's page open for months. But I just now took the time to play it. The first reason it took me so long was having played previous games from the developer I felt that it would be a better idea to wait for the story to be completed before getting into it. And due to that, the second reason, I kept pushing it back to play other games from this site instead.

Before reading the synopsis and having only looked at the preview images, due to having played earlier games from the developer, I automatically assumed that Holly was the MC and this was a different story following in the footsteps of what came before it. That being said once I took the time to watch the trailer and read the synopsis, learning that there was two MCs and the choices of one could effect the story of the other. I broke down and had to play it now.

Having played through the story once so far I can honestly say I should have waited. Not because it feels unpolished or unfinished, but because this game left me desperately wanting more. I was so engrossed in the story and it's characters that when I reached the end of current content screen it felt like I was shot out of a cannon and back into reality.

Which it's amazing when you find a story that can do that to you, but sucks when it happens because you just want the story to keep going forever. And I wouldn't be surprised if the story wasn't even half way done.

Now, aside from the story and the characters everything else is fantastic as well. I loved the art design of previous works and it still holds up and works so well here. It doesn't feel like any of the characters are a rehash, they are all their own people. The system works very well and very similar to GGGB, though now instead of dual morality stats there are more stats for better variation of choices.

This is a game that I will be playing every release of from now on. And once it is completed and I've finished my first playthrough I'll be going back for a second and third, and probably fourth time. It really is one of those so rare games that you just want to get lost in for hours and hours on end.

I really like this game and it's probably one of the best I've played. The drawings are really nice and the characters are interesting.
However, I find that the relationship with some of the characters takes too long to develop and therefore we get bored at the beginning of the game.
And I prefer Good girl gone bad in its story but that's subjective.

This game provides good contrast against the over-saturated 3dcg/RPGM games. The art style you really can't get nowhere else and the story plays out well enough. The girls are made well and have different personalities. I really recommend it a lot!

I have not played the author's previous game, but I must say that this was one of the best VN I've played, story wise it is in the top 2. It makes you feel that you actually have your own story to play out, but the thing is, your choiches can have vastly different outcomes.

The models for the girls are beautiful, though I would love a few more outfits for girls not named Lena. *cough*Alison*cough*

I can't fathom how much thought process must go into making all the different scenarios and paths, it is truly amazing that there is this much content already and I can't wait for more. A very deserving 5 star game.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the 2 person perspective is one of my favorite core mechanics I've seen. It is extremely refreshing, cleverly implemented, gives you some extra control in the Ian - Lena dinamic and I just love that you get to play a male MC (the thing that made me choose playing this game over GGGB).

Deserves 5 stars - gorgeous girls, an actual story (something which is pretty rare) and the POV shared between characters is a nice touch. One of the best games I have played so far! Really looking forward to the finished version

Nice artwork and story. I hope to find more and more games like this in the future. Every charcter is well designed, the fact that you switch betweenLena and Ian is peculiar. The only thing is taht I hope there were more replayability.

An amazing visual novel with a lot of choices and branching paths. The story itself is great, but the dialogue is extremely well written and it stands out the most. The characters are interesting, relatable and the art is pleasing to the eye. Recommended.

solid game, many choices to make, and they all end up being meaningful in some way or another. Plenty of different ways to mold your characters and the relationships that they can make over the course of the game. the characters are all very interesting and unique. Only tough part is that there are so many different things to do or routes to go with that it would be really tough and time consuming to try and touch on them all. This game has solid replay value for maybe 1 rerun of the game, which is not bad. All in all id say they did a lot of things right, but at times maybe tried to do too much. Either way a fun game that makes you feel involved in the lives of the characters and immersed into their world. 8/10

I love GGGB, but Our Red String is a different level. The story is much deeper and meaningful, and realistic enough to be able to give single people the experiences they are unfortunately deprived of.
The only thing is that the possible interests between the protagonists are slightly unfairly distributed. Ian has almost all the characters interesting, with their own history, hobbies and quite hot: Lena and Holly (the most interesting), tough Alison, cute Cherry, funny Emma, very hot Cindy, ugh, even Minerva, maybe Jess and Ivy in the future. Lena also has "rapid fire" and goof Robert, weirdo Stan (although this is unlikely to go further than voyeurism), asshole and player Jeremy, possibly Axel and Ed. In addition to Ian, only Mike is kinda cool and a very interesting character (although in his actions he is no better than Jeremy).

After playing this game for 5 hours something are missing from the two protagonists:
Female MC: No fat bald head boss, creepy shopkeeper and dried ass bone landlord trying to grope her every 2 seconds.
Male MC: No "landladies" and two daughters who would randomly fall into his lap every time they move.

I loved GGGB so naturally, I wanted to check this out and I haven't been disappointed!

I like the switching POVs (because female protag games are few and far between) and I think this strikes a nice balance when it comes to sex scenes and romance.

It's very rare for me to play games with female protags, they are picture as cock hungry sluts. Eva did a better job and gave the FMC a meaning that I was able to relate and see her struggles and ambitions.
This game is well written and fun to play, I am really excited for more

I want to begin by saying the art in this game is AMAZING!!! Easily one of the best drawn art games I have ever seen.

The characters each have their own distinct personalities. Most come across as very believable. I like most of the characters, except for Perry. He’s the kind of person who ruins it for everybody with his constant petty bitching and moaning over the smallest things.

There are a lot of little character decisions you can make. Such as having Lena get a naval piercing, or choosing topics and major decisions for Ian's book. A lot of work and love went into the creation of this game. I commend the dev.

The writing is solid. A few spelling errors here and there. Nothing major. Just stuff I imagine would have been caught with a proofread.

It does get a little tiresome though when seven chapters in Ian and Lena have dated multiple times, had sex multiple times, monologue their intense feelings for each other, but when asked if they are together, they tell people they are still getting to know each other. Both know what they are doing and what they want the relationship to be, but it’s like both of them are afraid to commit. I can understand not wanting to say it to each other, but not even admitting your feelings about the other to your friends I find a bit unbelievable.

I like the “mini-game” when you play pool. Although when you would play pool it is weird hearing the balls being called “spotted” when every time I play in real life, they are called Solids and Stripes.

This part made me remove a star. As much as I like this game, I think the dual protagonist aspect drags it down a little. Just when you’re getting into the story of Ian or Lena you slam into a brick wall of the game switching to the other character. I got used to it after a while, but it was a persistent issue. At least for me.

I highly recommend this game to everybody. If you pass this one up you will be doing yourself a serious disservice.

I came after some porn by bumped into this game... and ended up found a soul inside.
man... i sometimes even forgot i was playing a porn game instead just focused on shaping a character i wanted while enjoying the life story development.
-Decent drawing, characters appearance consistency are good in this art style.
-Some few nice BGMs, already nice but still got room for improvement imo.
-SFX is on point during sex scene, but that stats upgrade sound effect being cut off in abrupt quite obviously, just some minor QOL thing i want to point out.
-A true writer, story crafted with passion without being unrealistic, impeccable so far.
This dev is something rare in the industry...

Among the best adult games out there. It is a visual novel, so technically it is closer to chose your own adventure story than a proper video game but the overall experience is fantastic.
The game alternates between two protagonists, male and female, and we're in control of their actions in an important period of their lives. There's a lot of supporting characters, and they are all deep and interesting. Artwork is fantastic, as well. I cannot recommend this game enough.
