Brief Summary
PROS:
+ Stellar artwork (for the most part)
+Good & Interesting story
+ Dialogues are fine - good for the most part
+ Nice comedy
CONS:
- Low (H-Scenes / Gameplay Length) ratio
- Underdeveloped systems
- Unimaginative H scenarios
- Lots of text walls
- Very limited fetish appeals
- Possible balancing issues
Long Version:
I am not familiar with the development history of the game but it feels unfinished when looking at certain parts.
Despite having a very strong artstyle and a varied, hot cast of characters, it falls flat on it's face by failing on multiple other fronts. Let's start from the main problems, those being gameplay and overall design issues.
The #1 culprit is the save system. You cannot save through the main menu, instead you must use specific checkpoints on the map to manually save as you move around. These points are not sparse (there can be 3 of them within a really short distance from each other) but they become extremely annoying when coupled with the next problem.
Game Overs reset you from the last manual save you made. So in any encounter, wether you actually fail the combat or intentionally lose to view a potential game over scene (for which there is never an indication), you are shot all the way back to the last save and it becomes a massive chore.
Next, there is no cutscene skip options. You can't hold Ctrl, Alt or w/e to quickly powerthrough bricks of text wall. There technically is speeding up, but it's still way too slow.
Movement speed is also abysmally slow and coupled with the high encounter rate, it becomes a slog to move around the map. There is an item to reduce encounters rate but even that doesn't help much. Better to just have an item skipping them all together.
Dialogues can often get very tiresome as they make use of 1000 words to convey something that can be packed into 10. Not literally, you get the point.
Most of the game is on rails, there is almost no exploration.
A few interesting subtle nods and references (except the Goblin Slayer one) that were nice to see. However the 4th wall breaking at certain points felt jarring. When a medieval dark wizard talks like a basketball news caster and makes use of the exact phraseology, well you' re bound to be thrown out of any immersion you might have had.
Now for the actual porn aspect.
There is not much of it. The characters are hot, but most of them have VERY few scenes, almost all of the scenes are very short with generic garbage dialogue, the settings are pretty limited and vanilla (for my tastes), the artwork get's somewhat inconsistent around the mid-end game, and they are too few compared to the length of the game. Not to mention unimpactful as they don't seem to matter much, which is alright but leaves something wanting.
Personal gripe as a cursed guro enjoyer. Blood sprites etc. overlayed over other artwork does not work. It just looks horrendous.
OVERALL:
If you' re here for the porn, use the full save.
If not, good luck.
Bad porn game, mid to bad RPG game.
