after going in the temple, and getting the stronghold... it became stuck in this pitch black mode... i can't acess my mountary this way... and even if i die i can't change this state, what do i need to do?

I gave up on trying this one once the abandoned tag went up.
Last time I played from the start I started at a farmhouse.
Interesting, they just dump me at the gates in the slave pen place. I wonder if something was changed in an update before it died... Thanks for the response though!
The start or this game changed so many times, especially while the developer experimented with 'do-s' and 'don't-s' at the early releases.
So, don't bother with searching according to the screenshots, you'll probably never find older builds... Such a shame that the developer abandoned the game (and changed to the skill-smashing combat system just before abandoning)

I’ve released a new demo game on my patreon site (public post), you’r welcome to try it. Patreon seems so quiet, no one even asked me for adult stuff
There are two versions of game, Gameplay and social. For adult download social and try it out. You can also play gameplay mode, but it’s just a game mostly the without adult stuff. Similar to my previous game Ancient world.
During game use backspace or numpad * key to bring up the console.
For adult version write: adult1
This unlocks adult version where you can remove clothes and grab/manipulate intimate body parts. Genitals, Boobs, Butt, Neck
You can also do that during animatons explained below…
When you talk to npc, under cuffs and hand icon there is a slider, you can move the slider to see some of the intimate animations currently present.
This version has only Male&Other/Female animations. No Female/Female yet. There are some bugs present, like clippings of models during animation when repositioning.
Feel free to comment, criticize it.

It's the style. But you can increase pixelation by opening console with numpad * or backspace, write pixel1 and enter.
Why would you have it pixelated when UI itself is that smooth? It's quite jarring contrast.

Yeah, saw that. Was just curious if they had any desire or intent to continue Overlord, instead of the new project.
...It would be very difficult to continue with the Overlord. Half of the scripts would need to be rewritten and the models redone. If I ever did it, it would need to change completely, maybe even beyond recognition. It would need to scale down by a big amount.
Thank you for the answer which i really wanted to know but did not expect to recieve at that time.
After you axed OP i don't know what to think and more about changing(even for short time) to the (continue) start of the game.
But do you consider remake? The game has potential.
I do not even think that player mind too much visual quelity, as i see in most projects is is not what they hooked on. More or less interesting Plot, working and interesting mechanic, content ofc. I think you had most of it just to polish it. But i can uderstand it is problem if you want to redone scripts and code too much.
I hope to see you other project(checked them, but still do not know what to think as it is tech demo) and if you try to remake this one
