Hey, I can't find a public download for the latest version of the mod. I have Ch4Up5, but it doesn't work with the current version of the game (Ch4Up5Public), your mod is reporting a newer version, but it's not here.

not sure what the other poster is talking about, the version here is the same version i have on patreon, and yes the version should work fine with the public version of the game. the only reason the mod says outdated is simple just because of the added "public" text added to version number.

It easier for anyone that can help if you show/attach the traceback with the error. I'll guess since you are here that you applied the mod, make sure it is correctly installed by reading the "installation" box information in the OP. Most the times an error when loading/opening the game is an incorrect installation.

I had that happen once, you have duplicated files but I didn't made the mess you did there lol sorry for laughing, but look at that path of the file week1.rpy. Clearly means you installed the mod incorrectly. game/PaleCarnations-ch4up5-Shawns-Mod/PaleCarnations-ch4up5-Shawns-mod/game/week1.rpyc is a completely wrong path but the game somehow is still calling it.

Best thing is install the game again fresh, then unzip the mod rar file, will create a folder like this

Then enter the contents of the mod folder and cut or copy the folder inside it named "game" (1st screenshot), the 2nd screenshot is just what is inside of that mod game folder and that is the files that will be added/overwritten in the original pale carnations game "game" folder, explained in the next step.

And paste it in the folder where the game executable is and the "game" folder of the game installation is (1st screenshot) as well, overwrite files if prompt to, and will look as something like the 2nd screenshot (with the exception of the 0x52 URM file, that is the universal renpy mod I use in every renpy game, and probably the save folder that if the game is fresh and never been played probably didn't create a save folder yet).

You just need the mod folder there and the other contents of the mod inside the game installation "game" folder (2nd screenshot above). The path where it tried to call one of those week1.rpcy file is completely wrong and shouldn't be like that.

Always glad to help other players and modders because I have a lot of respect for the work they do for free. I always use URM and probably to use author mods like this one is a bit redundant hehe but I always enjoy to work with those too, even if is just to help you and other modders to improve them with constructive feedback. Thanks a lot for your mod Shawnchapp, it works perfectly at least on my end. Anyway URM is always a good complement to mods like this one since the modders can't "cheat" everything and I'm a bit of control freak in my playthroughs .

Passion/horniess its just the secondary stat if you read the stats screen it will tell you what it is.

I haven't used the latest version, but I've used previous iterations on mac and there isn't any reason it won't work.

More steps to install. You have the right click on the PaleCarnations app package --> 'show package contents'

is where the game folder is where you add the mod scripts

Does it still work for you on Mac, especially with the saves - do they load exactly at the point you saved them? Is rolling back after loading a save smooth? I plan on starting this so I wanna make sure it works properly. I noticed the installation instructions only mentions it for PC and not Mac, and I've had issues like these in the past with other mods, so I'm asking just in case.
