Java - Completed - Paradise Found [v1.0.04] [Alcahest]

When I first downloaded this game, I originally planned to give it 3 stars. Since then, however, I've struggled with how to rate this one because it has some really good qualities and some annoying qualities.

Bad

1. Installation is annoying. I understand that the creator probably has to do this to avoid copyright claims, but having to go to the trouble of downloading a separate media pack to play the game as it was intended is frustrating and was almost a bridge too far for me. It doesn't take special knowledge to do, though, so at least it's easy to get done.
2. The opening sequence is needlessly confusing. This is done so that the creator can maintain an air of "this isn't incest" when questioned by Patreon, but is still frustrating to deal with. You are told that you have a mother, father, and 2 sisters. Then, you leave them and move in with a "landlady" and her 2 daughters, your "friends." To be clear, they're the same people and labeling your "landlady" to be your mother is how the game is actually meant to be played. You will not meet your "family."
3. Sometimes the writing is very lazy and flows poorly. It's not always(probably less than 1/10 the writing), but it can really stand out and gets annoying under examination.
4. The main character rapes his sister and his psychologist is okay with that. His sister has a compromised mental state and he knowingly uses this to have sex with her. The only explanation for why the MC isn't behind bars is that his psychologist is a bigger psychopath than he is.
5. I'm not a fan of female domination or humiliation and that is a significant portion of one of the characters.
6. I'm also not a fan of blasphemy. The main character convinces a side character that God wants her to have sexual interactions with him. I don't like it, I don't care what religion it is.
7. Despite claims to the contrary, there is a lot of grinding in this game, most of it is just hidden behind "increased your relationship to X" actions and going through the same pictures and videos over and over to see a slightly altered text to show that you've graduated to seeing your sisters braless breasts. The progression is handled well, but it still takes hours of play before you do anything beyond jerk off to disapproving, clothed women.
8. The "memory health" mechanic is very shallow. There was no point in the game when I was actually in any danger of losing. It's so easy to recover, you face almost no penalties for using your pills, and it just gets easier as time passes. It needs to remain in the game because it's the glue that holds the logic of everything together, but it's trivially easy to the point that it might as well not exist. In order for it to actually matter, you'd have to see random events of losing pills, greater losses for engaging in sexual activity not prescribed by your doctor, or less recovery from taking pills/engaging in "proper" sexual hijinks. I'm sure there are other suggestions that would be even better, but currently the game has no difficulty.
9. What's with all the lawyer ball sucking going on in the beginning?
10. Some of the girls sexual fetishes are a bit weird. By and large they're okay, and make sense, but your little sister being attracted to...Whatever, it's not a big deal it's just probably not something that actually exists and should probably be re-termed to something like "sapio-sexual".

Good

1. There is a ton of content in this game. Yes, a lot of it gets recycled, but a lot of time and effort has been put into making this a cohesive, understandable play. I'm very impressed by how the creator was able to go through tons of different videos and images and somehow make a reasonable through line between them. Especially impressive was Kyra because of her hair changing colors.
2. The psychology of DID is actually pretty accurate. I can't speak to the technical terminology, but my sister also suffers from the condition and I can remember times in my own life when she has complained to me about her loss of memory and how different everything feels.
3. The girls have all been well chosen for their role.
4. Most of the writing for the game is at least adequate. Given the volume of writing, this shouldn't be overlooked. There are times when you will probably stumble over the words, but by and large everything flows neatly together well enough.
5. The color coding system for events is magnificent and helps cut down on grinding a lot. In a game with a ton of grinding already in it, that's great to see.
6. There's a lot of different girls to interact with.
7. I like the addition of times when you interact with girls simply to make them think you're not constantly trying to get in their pants(even though you really are).
8. Time and effort has been put into making this an actually reasonable story instead of various videos of women having sex.

Overall, I would say that this is a good game worth a look, but it could stand to have some editing done.

I'm conflicted about how to feel about this game.

On the one hand, there are very few, if any, real-porn games on here that have the same amount of quality content as Paradise Found. The chosen models are hot, the porn itself is fairly high-quality, and there's a *lot* of it, which already puts this game several steps above the other competitors on the site.

However....

This game is also one of many that has a really unfortunate approach to the progression of the story, where the relationships advance at a glacial pace, and all the girls only gradually lower their boundaries piece by piece in ways that strike me as ridiculous and immersion-breaking.

You can play this game for three hours, and the total progress you will have made will amount to "my 'roommate' who was completely fine with me jerking off to her underneath my pants has now agreed to let me do it with my pants off". It feels rather ridiculous for someone to be completely fine with you nutting to them in their underwear, but then clam up and be completely unwilling to let you see their breasts while doing the same thing. It's a weird, halting, transactional dynamic, and I find it to be incredibly immersion-breaking.

It's immersion-breaking because it's really hard to believe that this is how an actual human would actually act in that situation, and that while the game being structured this way is a natural result of it being an actively developed game that comes out in installments, it still ends up vastly undermining my enjoyment of the story. And if I'm not going to be playing this for the story, all that's left is the porn, and at that point I could just... go actually watch porn instead of playing this game.

I became a fan of Kylie page after playing the game.
A little too wordy and repetitive, but good selection of gifs and videos.

I guess the options don't really matter, if you keep visiting a girl you get to bed her in the end.

Bloke with amnesia requires sexual activity to keep his memories. Hot therapist helps him find a way to meet his needs.

Best real-porn game I've seen, images and animations all well chosen.
In-depth story, and writing is good.
The only downside is the length of time you play as a sex-pest, begging your housemates to let you wank in front of them.

Love the gameplay. I enjoy that you have to progress between many of the girls and that new ones and locations are still being introduced.

A great use of existing materials. The Avery model was new to me and I thought that she was sweet!

One of the best "real porn" games. The story is fun to play through and the build up is amazing with some great happy endings.... I can see it really getting built out in later versions, more people introduced and other areas.

One of the best I've ever found. Story and gameplay are what breaks or makes a game. This one has it both. And the videos chosen are consistent with the story and use the same actresses, which is issue with many games that use real models.

I have only tried a few real porn games, they very often have low ratings so I kind of avoided them. I have now tried a few of them however and I feel like this one is the very best so far. The dev actually makes an effort to build up to naughty stuff and they also make an effort to keep the images/video make sense. I have seen real porn games where the look of the characters change from scene to scene. This one simply feels natural, I can highly recommend this one to people who are apprehensive towards real porn games.

I do have three cons but they are sort of minor. To start with the story revolves around MC having access to pills that decreases peoples inhibitions. I feel like he could have stopped using them on people quite a while ago, he has them already doing very dirty stuff. It just feels like a thing to turn it into a game after a while.

The second con is a very subjective one but it involves the fact that quite a few of the characters have fake boobs. To me unnatural things look kinda icky so I hate fake boobs. This game has quite a few characters with fake boobs. Some scenes with these are fine cause some of them have half decent boobjobs but overall I notice me liking those characters less.

The third con is slightly bigger than the rest. The side story involving one of the sisters is very convoluted and I stopped caring about it quite quickly because it would basically throw a wall of text in your face over and over. It also got quite hard to follow and the fact that it involves a character with fake boobs did not help.

Beyond that I loved the game and congrats to dev on a good game. The build up with the mom is SUPER good imo.

The best real porn game in the site, and one of the best games in general.
Story is simple but well made.
The progression is well developed.
Tons of events and you can pick the pace of the game so they almost get repetitive.

- no renpy approach with 1-2 sentences per screen which you need to "skip-space" dozen of times.
all that makes text readable and the story traceable (which ofc positively affects immersion)
so as it is still far from being classic VN - no need to be afraid of reading (which in other cases sbx-players like me would skip)

No infinite pointless grind, top quality renders.

Paradise Found is probably the best incest game out there, it has just the right amount of slow build up without being boring or blue balling you. It has really good writing. The models are perfect for each character as well.

the game is great , the story is great and flexible so i expect much more future content , the girls are well picked , i dislike 1 of them but overall this game is worth the time . i like that it's not so grindy , every 3 or 4 times farming affection you get a scene , the content and story are so rich , for me that's one of my favorites since i'm not really into VN cuse i hate reading , but i've read every chunk of text while playing this.

This game is just so addictive. Somehow it made me stay up until 4.am on a workday...

It has this really good balance of not being grindy, not rushing sexual scenes but still feel rewarding for all the actions you do.
The models are hot and not the same every other game uses, so the real porn actually feel original!
Was missing a way to replay scenes last i played but can see that its being worked on in the changelog.

This game is for people who like to get teased and games that are wraped with a interesting story. And for me it also has a lot of variety in the way of teasing. The developers were doing a really good job
What I do like most about it, is that its not just a simple and short game. You need to stay "focused" to reach your destination and stick to your plans.

This game is an odd one for me. Having played a lot of porn games and being desensitized to vanilla porn as a whole, it should've made me delete it after 10 minutes. Part of what made me continue playing is Kylie, but another important part is the writing, well thought out and engaging.

The dev is clearly not a novice to psychology, nor a novice to porn in general and it shows. While a Java game based on real porn from, truth be told, Brazzers copy-paste videos should be a crapfest, I find it working. It's a hell of a slow burn and the sex scenes are as tame as they come, but the ensemble works.

There are things I wish I could change:
- Kylie won't probably do anything past blowjobs/vaginal, at least not until Kylie Page does, which is a shame.
- The pacing could be better.
- Boobs shouldn't be the be all end all of fetishes in this game. True, vanilla lovers and people who can still fap to upskirts or sideboob will get a lot of enjoyment, but I don't think the vast majority of porn game players will find it as exciting.

All these being said, it's a game that pleasantly surprised me and well worth a spot on my watched list.

I didn't think these real porn type of games were my cup of tea, I'm still not 100% convinced but after trying Wife trainer and jumping into Paradise Found, I have to admit they're convincingly interesting, sexy and addictive.

Not sure I would bother playing too much without the cheats, even less sure I will complete them, but I definitely can enjoy its many aspects and the work behind it. Good job people!

I wish there was more content with Angela because it seems rather repetitive but hopefully that is something we will see in the next update. Keep up the great work!

Really great game. The story is great and the characters are well developped. It's the best real porn game of this website and the way you play it, is different from all the html games out there.
Also, the choice of the models is great as they all fit their roles perfectly.

This game has a good flow of gameplay and progression of the main character's mastery over himself. It maintains a great pacing of sexy scenes where you feel like you're not rewarded too much too quickly, though you're still given enough eye candy consistently enough that it doesn't feel like a chore. The creator made great choices in picking actresses and in picking their scenes. Features some pretty good writing, good enough to suspend disbelief but doesn't really try to be anything more than a sex game (which I think was a good choice).
Definitely worth playing. Looking forward to the finished product and future projects by this guy.
