Made a little sig from upcoming content. One thing that's weird is that both our bad reviews here are based off Jack not being 'dominant' enough; character development is a thing, and if he starts off as the world's uber-alpha, he's really only got one way to go afterwards.
I like Jack the way he is and his development, for me, has gone from lacking confidence to being confident and realizing he is good at things but stays nice, caring and likeable. No need for him to become some dominant "alpha male". He can take charge to the girl's liking, but doesn't need to do it because it's his new personality. If you get what I'm saying.

I agree. If they turn him into an asshole like most MC characters in these types of games are then I'm out.

No plans for that, no. He becomes more confident and will eventually rise to his full potential from his time on the island. But he's not going to turn into a predator.
What I'd like for him to eventually do is kick the privileged class to curb. Seriously those three leeches are in dire need of a good kick (or a dick in Karen's case).

There are not many adult games having male protagonist where he is neither a weakling, nor an aggressive asshole. Jack actually is a rare case of a likeable hero - kind, smart, handsome and strong enough right from the start (both physically and mentally). I wish there would be more such dudes in this kind of games. :)

man playing this game feels like watching a bad shipwreck movie. too much dialogue, and everyone wants to be funny. you gotta forget that youre trying to get off the island to actually enjoy this game. just my opinion

Dunno, man. The entire schtick of the game is a light-hearted porn game on a paradisiac island. As you advance the plot, attempts to communicate with the outside world happen. However, unless someone answers their distress calls, there's no way out... why get crazy about that when you can - for now- conform to the situation and enjoy the company of models?

well, no, the problem isnt that everyone is trying to do the best they can to make their time worth it, its the fact that everything they do is too cheesy. like at the beginning of the game where you just got shipwreck, 2 minutes after finding the first survivor, dudes was already cracking jokes. and after the second survivor, they had already forgot they just shipwreck and started planning to fuck a person they just met out loud with another person.

its like a bad comedy

He's kind of like the Star-Lord or Nathan Drake of porn games. A bit of a loveable loser who tends to get a bit flustered around the ladies, but who also sort of fancies himself a ladies' man (and has it work out for him in the end due to his goofy charm and good hearted nature). A bit of a fuck-up, but also capable of getting the job done when necessary. Solid, dependable, and willing to tough things out, but also someone who's going to have you rolling your eyes a lot if you hang around him too long. Cheesy lines and quips standard.

His personality is a large part of what I liked about the game when I first played. I've never been a fan of Japanese-style games where the protagonist is pretty much a pushover who is constantly paralyzed by doubt and indecision, and games where you're an utter monster who starts at dominance and corruption and eventually just spirals into straight-up sadism can get old after a while. Sometimes you just want to cuddle with your waifus. Having a bit more light-hearted/comedic tone helps it stand out from other stories (and the "sex comedy" vibe reminds me a lot of the old Spellcasting 101/201/301 games).

About the only downside is that he can be a bit too much give and not enough take at times, but it feels like that's actually part of the story and something that will change as he grows more confident and capable.
