Overview

Parasite Echo is NSFW sci-fi survival horror game set aboard a derelict research vessel infected by a mysterious biomechanical entity known as The Echo (Bio-CN6/03). You play as Cira, a lone operative sent to investigate a distress signal from the botanical science ship CANOPY-6 — a ship that should be empty… but isn’t.

The deeper she ventures into the overgrown, flickering halls of the station, the more the infection spreads — both around her… and inside her.

This thread will follow the development process in real-time: gameplay systems, story progression, NSFW implementation, concept art, and milestones. Feedback is welcome.

This is a solo-dev project made with Unreal Engine. I’m focusing on building strong gameplay first (movement, combat, progression), with layered horror and sexual content on top.
I'll update this thread regularly with new builds, polls, and behind-the-scenes content.

Huh, is this game inspired by another game in development that carries the word "parasite" in the title? It would be nice to know in what kind of direction this will go. What kind of engine do you use? UE4 or UE5? Character modification possible? (like A-cup to F-cup and other body settings?) Will you meet other humans to interact with (romances) or only ... uhm tentacles?

I do like the outfit style and look so far, though hope to see gameplay at some point soon
I do hope, personally, it gets clothed versions of NSFW scenes, even if its just the footwear and arm/shoulder/neck portions of the bodysuit from the screencaps.

as opposed to the fade to black suddenly nude, then fade back in, no longer nude models

Yeaah, I started this game because I saw that there was enough interest thanks to the game you mentioned. Its a type of game that I wanted to make. During the development I have been really inspired by Dead Space. You will notice it if you play it

I'm on Unreal Engine 5.5, although I'm not using most of the new technology associated with UE5 (lumen, megalights, etc.) to achieve a better performance on old hardware (in the Unreal developer environment, it is known that these new Unreal features do not give good results for real games).

Character modification possible? (like A-cup to F-cup and other body settings?)

Give body customization to the character means that in some sequences there will be clipping or lack of precision on the animations, especially in an nsfw game. I'm considering adding pubic hair customization, since it wouldn't conflict with what I've told you.

Will you meet other humans to interact with (romances) or only ... uhm tentacles?

Of course, there are still some survivors in Canopy-6, both men and women.
You can also expect certain scenes with infected enemies (not in this update).
As for the tentacles...

I almost knew that you would say that about the body settings. Well ... it's not a critical feature, but most players wont bother, I guess. Pubic hair isn't interesting for me. I am always happy about cameltoes or cameltoe outfits ... maybe also different shapes of the vagina or areola, as far as it didn't mess up the clothing - but I see that's not your focus, right now.

Of course, there are still some survivors in Canopy-6, both men and women.
You can also expect certain scenes with infected enemies (not in this update).
As for the tentacles...

Ha! If tentacles are in a thing, then the follow up question is always about pregnancy status ... which leads to questions about a sex counter ... virginity ... or sexual preferences.

The infection process in women is completely related to the pregnancy and birth process, at least in some cases. That's all I can say for now

the Dead Space feeling is definitely there and is well suited with the lore you are writing.

Wait! What do you mean with "for seduction"? And why is an r missing in the top of the inventory. Or is the order of the letters a random construct? O (r) G A S M?
