4/5. An actually fun RE sidescroller with very good looking art and fair amounts of sextual content. Lots of little things hold it back from being a 5, but still worth playing to completion

Parasitic Evil is a 2D side scrolling action adventure game, with minor elements of puzzle solving and stealth. You play as a random faceless self-insert dude with no background who was caught up and sent to the local hospital, unbeknownst to him he was locked in ground zero of a mass parasitic epidemic that has taken over the entire hospital. Yunxin, another innocent bystander who was caught alongside you is your sexual companion you must protect along the way. An evil mad scientist has infected her with a parasitic embryo preparing her to be become a brood mother to unleash his so-called “God” into the world. Luckily for the both of you, you're immune and your seed is the cure to fight back against the mind controlling parasite infecting Yunxin. Now it's up to you to defend Yunxin from a horde of mindless zombies, cure the parasite infecting her, and escape the hospital in one piece. All while taking advantage of Yunxin dilemma and morphing her into your own personal nympho lover/slave.

Gameplay 3/5: Very basic Resident Evil content. Go from point A to point B, find an item, find out where you would use item, potentially solve a puzzle or two, collect a new item to progress the story, and then continue to explore until you find another new item. Yay... backtracking... Shoot zombies, run from zombies, hide from zombies. No inventory management, and you're only stuck with one pistol. Every time you do the nasty with your waifu in a safe room you gain experience that you can allocate to different stats, ranging from health, increase stamina increase, bigger ammo capacity, etc. And also, you don’t need to actually worry about Yunxin getting captured screaming “LEON!”, though that was a bit of a missed opportunity. While there's much to do around the hospital, not every trail leads to gold and some rewards are bogus. The only side quest worth your salt is unlocking the VIP room.

Story 2/5: Evil scientist discovers a slab of meat that can regenerate tissue and make people healthy, turns out it's a biochemical parasite that takes over a human body and turns them into zombies. He goes mad with power and starts a cult in order to birth a new God. He finds Yunxin to be the perfect host for this process, unfortunately your miracle cure seed throws a wrench into his plans. While you're not on a hard time limit there is the constant threat of Yunxin succumbing to the parasite within her. Since the main goal is to prevent your waifu from turning into a mindless brood spawner, you'll have to take the time to find a safe zone and give her your special injection sauce to beat back the parasite (Pro-tip you're gonna need a lot of energy drinks). Through trials and tribulations you eventually find a means to synthesize a cure from your blood and use it to defeat evil dude (who this point became a B.O.W.), you save the day, you get the girl. Blah blah blah. Simple plot, nothing fancy. There's a decent attempt at world building inside the hospital but it's all just fluff, nothing you need to care about.

Art 5/5: The art style is unexpectedly great and uncensored, animations quality can vary from scene to scene, the art can get a little wonky here and there but it's nothing to care about. The game looks the worst in the overworld, everyone's walking animation is pretty stilted making them look like they have a stick up their asses at all times. Though to be fair, there is a point where Yunxin, eventually decides to play it risky and start screwing while you're hiding in objects, these scenes are pretty good and some are fairly good quality. The real beauty is in the CG animations, all of them are animated fantastically and there's a fair amount to go around. Unfortunately some of these are locked behind defeat conditions, which is no fun in my book.

Hentai 4/5: considering this is an omage to Resident Evil, the contents of sexual scenes can range form standard to a little out there. There is no gore or snuff content, at least not on screen, only mentioned and restricted to game overs since you're the victim. Most of the game you're trying to keep Yunxin free from the parasite, that means there's plenty of opportunity to perform sexual acts with her. Most sexual acts are done within safe rooms and in risky hiding spots, and you get a fair number of scenes to play with her there. The more you do lewd things with her, the more open her sexuality becomes and more positions she’ll take, eventually she’ll start craving more and is more open to suggestion, not to the point of corruption but pretty damn close all things considered. Eventually you'll unlock hardcore scenes, these can be a deal breaker for you but are mostly optional. These include, fisting, nipple fucking, BDSM, and pelvic/colonoscopy play (this is a hospital folks). There also includes tentacles, gangbang, rape, and monster action, these are locked behind a game over.

Translation 3/5: While I can’t speak for the other languages available, the English translation is a bit of a mess. It’s readable sure and has no poetry mixed in, but it does have some eyebrow raisers here and there. There are some mix-ups with gender pronouns, and dialogue for story reads stilted and stiff. Sex dialogue is decent, and the journey watching Yunxin transform from reluctant pillow princess to a budding submissive nympho slave was a joy to read.

TLDR: Surprisingly decent game. Has problems and can feel a little tedious at times, but the good art and actually alright gameplay makes this a 4/5.

    +: Pros
    -: Cons
    >:Neutral

    Gameplay:

+ Can actually be played one-handed most of the time, if you don't use the gun much and it's easy to not use the gun since evade is really overpowered.

    > Simple puzzles, nothing too complicated for a fap session.

+ Map actually had icons telling you where which doors need the keycard, where to input codes etc. Surprising QOL feature, makes backtracking less tedious.

    - Still, there is an excessive amount of backtracking so it can be irritating running from one level to another 2 levels up to find important things.

+ Unique stealth mechanic, in that the enemies will make a beeline for your position if you are too noisy. A little clunky though, but unique nonetheless.

++ Sex is tied to an in-game mechanics.
    1) Aside from game-over CGs, you actually have to fuck the heroine periodically to ensure she doesn't '"turn". You can do this at the saferooms, or you can actually fuck her while hiding from the monsters (once she reaches a certain development level).
So you actually have something to fap to without losing intentionally. And even if you die, you have something to fap to as well.
Though beware some enemies don't have game-over CGs (like the floor trap enemy).
    2) After having sex with her in the saferooms, you gain levels and can spend them on upgrades (stamina, health etc.). This is as far as I can tell, the only way to level up. Sex to progress, nice.

    - Save points feel a little too spaced apart.

    > Gun can feel a little pointless at times since it's better to just evade, flee and hide to lose them.

    - The save system is really weird. You'll have to play to understand what I mean.

    Art:

+ Good variety of animated CGs and sprite sex, for those tied to gameplay and game-overs.

+ Different positions for the "hidden sex" sprite scenes.

    - For some, the animated CGs and sprites can feel stiff and basic. And can look a little off at times.

+ As mentioned, you don't have to lose to fap.

+ Gallery is unlocked from the start.

    Translation:

    + Well-translated and completely understandable.

    Conclusion:

When I saw the preview pictures, I almost skipped it considering it looks awfully similar to those other awful side-scroller games from other circles. Glad I gave it a try.
I'd rate it a 4/5, but honestly I had a good time with the game and in the sea of absolute garbage, this is one of those games that isn't bad. 5/5.
