It really had my decaffeinated brain worried for a minute or two about what would happen to some of the games here if patreons rules would hit...

Finding nothing in the News-section about it made me check the date and... well done, very well...
First time in years one of these rattled my cage.

How many more downloads than usual did games get
How many accounts were deleted.

There are so many funny numbers to get out of that one.
This got me and I feel like many people will fall for it without even realizing this was a joke.

this was a good one! i dont normally fall for April fools jokes but they got me on this one! (at least i hope its a joke) in the case that this was real i was hitting the recent posts tab and found this thread realizing it was a joke and saving my self from the mess id have to clean up after i shit myself! i was literally prepared to go looking for a new site to download from or spend the next 3 days asking others in the forums where they were gonna go when the shit hit the fan!

Hits a bit too close to home. F95 has made a name for itself being one of the places people can come to talk about adult games without being subjected to censorship by developers of said games, but recently moderation has become far too willing to play thought police for anyone with a stick up their bum.

I really like Patreon acquiring this site since incest and pregnancy tags scare me. These might be terrible news for all of us.
Expecting heavy censorship, massive deletion of any content Patreon don't like (there are many things we have here that Patreon don't like and already censored on them platform), Monthly forced fees and woke crybabies ruining our fun.
But our crusade is not over, let's start finding a new forum or forums to migrate our beloved content from now on.
Whatever they might say, that's the future for F95zone under Patreon.
Be strong brothers, we might find another place to live if this test from F95zone becomes reality.

With this news, I can only imagine how much better F95 will get. Sure, some extreme content (like any overly sexual content) might be removed, but overall, I believe this will be beneficial for the F95 Community!
