Another solution may be go text based game to start with if the writting is good enough that you can engage people you may pick up a few patreons from their .But it will need to be very good to get people engaged.
Yeah honestly I think though I can write an adult game aided by image, I don't think my skills of writing detailed pictureless erotica are up to scratch. Although it's an option if it comes down to it.

He mentions Paperspace. You might want to check it out or contact him for more detail. It looks like it might help you.

Imagine the following scene:

*Phone rings*
- Voice #1: "Hello, is this the recording studio? I have a really good idea for a song. Could you guys help me record it?"
- Voice #2: "Well, certainly. Can you send me a bit of your previous work, so I have an idea about what I am dealing with?"
- Voice #1: "Previous work? No, no, you don't seem to get it. I haven't actually recorded any songs before now. However, I am hoping that after you guys help me record this song, I will be able to buy a guitar!"
Voice #2: "So, let me get this straight: You haven never recorded music before, you have nothing to show me, to tell me that you are a capable musician, and you don't own a guitar of your own, and you expect me to give you financial support with your song?"
Voice #1: "Yep, precisely!"
*Disconnected*

This is pretty much what you are asking of people. Just saying.

Looking at the pricing of Paperspace, it seems like a good option for rendering a few initial scenes for Patreon. Dunno how I didn't find out about it before but it seems like an affordable option just about. Gonna look into how it works.

For your info, a few initial scenes won't bring you that rig, considering you will spent around 100$ a month on paperspace let's say you reach 100$ with your first release(I find it unlikely) you will still have to push out content which means another month of 100$ from paperspace, back and forwards like this for AT LEAST 4 or 5 months before you can afford the rig, I suggest you make a prototype and try to find an artist, the increase in content release and with the high quality renders of an actual artist is going to be much more useful in getting you to a decent number

Artists are in pretty high demand, but you could try asking in the Lemma Soft Forums' " " forum. They've got a pretty organized section there to help you create teams for making visual novels and the like. Just make sure you read the rules on how to post a proper request first (and you might want to read a couple of examples as well before posting there).

What can I do to get patrons on my Patreon if I don't have renders to show off? The issue is I need this workstation PC first for my renders so I don't have to torture and brutally murder my laptop during renders but I can't get the PC without money from Patreon. What else makes a good Patreon prior to having renders?
Might I suggest to do 3Delight Daz renders? They don't demand the same computing power Iray renders do. Once you get a decent rig you can reuse your .duf files and render them in Iray. It's really hard to start this journey! I spent $2700 on a gaming PC and I don't dare calculate the amount on DAZ assets. Like Pepe said, it costs money to make money. Same goes for any other business out there. It sucks when you are passionate about something. I hope you can figure out a solution that works for you! Good luck!

the guy that made corruption of champions and tits is making gobs of money now. but in essence both games are simple text based sexual rpgs. and he made no money of CoC at the start. So if you cannot make renders, etc. do something like that. If your writing is good enough then not only patrons will flock to you, but also artist and other staff that you could hire.

Perverteer did 3Delight on his laptop until he made enough moeny to afford real upgrades then switched to IRay, so it is possible.

Also yeah if you're serious you could always try text based games, some of them surprisingly make quite a bit of money, same with "real porn" image games if the writing is there.
