Have faith, all will be chill. The game has come back from being 'abandoned' before, and I'm sure that anything that pops up will just be a hiccup, and not a game over. Even if getting removed from Patreon means just one more update, or more or less that the game is over in it's current state, it was a great run while it lasted.

Hey again, It's been a minute. I hope everyone's 2024 has been good so far. As an alternative to Patreon, and Subscribestar (where I'm still waiting for approval...) I've set up a Pixiv Fanbox where you can crowdfund the game, if you want to. I am still looking for Subscribestar as the main source of revenue for the game, but if it works out Fanbox might be my main subscription platform. Let me know what you think about it.
Patriarch v.0.13 is almost finished! It will arrive for the VIP tier of the Fanbox this Friday, the 2/2, a week later for the Investor and Supporter tiers on 9/2 and 16/2 for the public!
Due to difficulties I've had in the past I no longer endorse the use of any pictures or gifs in my game. However, I've been told a community member on the discord will keep providing something like that in the form of "fan patches" for each version.
With the move to Fanbox I'm also altering the distribution model of the game somewhat. When you pledge at a tier there you will get access to an exclusive discord server where the early access versions of the game will be available. To recuperate from losing my Patreon I'm adding an incentive to subscibing to the fanbox. Whenever I reach 150 backers on Fanbox I will release a Bonus Thank you event with a couple of scenes for EVERYONE, not just subscribers.

So... this means that the Game form now on will only be text-based? Or am I misunderstanding something?
I am sure that every update there will be a 'fan' patch from a community member that adds gifs and photos that fit the game well. The 'community' is very talented (though genuinely they are), and the game will continue. Oranos here will 'only' write the scenes, plot, etc.

Are previous saves supposed to work with newer versions?
I can't seem to be able to load an save from disk. The save was from 0.8 but I can't see anything on update notes which would say that the old saves don't work. I can save the save file to my computer but when I click the "load from disk" nothing happens. No error messages or anything, it just doesn't work.

I have all the girl achievements other than meeting Carmicheal's friend from the Financial District, can anyone tell me who the so called influential person is that I'm supposed to spend a ton of money on / with ? I can't seem to figure out the trigger for this one, Thanks and yes I did try to do a search before asking..
It's Monique. You can look at her in the in-game walkthrough for the exact steps. Waiting patiently for the 0.13 for the breeding clinic kink fix. Wonder if the 0.12 save is going to be compatible or a restart is needed.
