First, you use the item used to find Rangiku, but at the beach and 2 areas of the park (All at night), then wait for a moment. A sound cue will happen, and the battle will begin. I recommend leveling up a bit prior at the canyon, and getting the blue options beforehand, as they will help alot in each battle.
