RPGM - Peasant's Quest [v3.71] [Tinkerer]

The grind is unbearable.

At the start of the game all you can do is work the forge and tend some crops. You grind that out until you can buy some items and level up enough to fight goblins in the forest. Then you grind away at the goblins until you can buy better gear and head into new areas in search of quests. You are frequently sent off on menial fetch quests where you are constantly attacked by random encounters, which is a problem since the combat is a dull uninteresting chore that you must suffer through to get to the good stuff. The turn based combat eats up a lot of time, even when facing a group of weak enemies, so the game moves along at a snail's pace.

The sexual content is very hit or miss.

There are some scenes that appeal to specific kinks that a lot of people aren't going to want to see. This includes rape, bestiality, and an astonishingly revolting NTR gangbang. So if you aren't into that sort of thing, then the game becomes a minefield because it's occasionally sprung on you by surprise and there's no way to avoid it. The only way I'm going to grind through hours of stuff that isn't fun, is if I'm excited to see what happens at the end of the quests. If there is a chance that the scene waiting for me as a reward is something that I'm going to find disgusting, then I'm going to sour on the game real quick. Which is precisely what happened after being blindsided by that horrendous bait and switch wedding ceremony quest.

I'm not going to spend hours on busywork just to play Russian Roulette with the erotic content.

First i must confess that i hate cheats even in porn games so i played it without cheating.

The beginning of the game is very slow, It takes a lot of time before you can go and start killing enemies without worrying of dying after one or two encounters.

The "Energy" bar is a hindrance and takes away the fun since it goes up rather quickly and its a waste to use potions every time its full and you want to continue.

Some scenes give the player false sense of choice since, Yes, You can try to kill the enemy but even after grinding levels you still die, So NTR is somewhat forced without cheats.

The renders or Graphics are mediocre, there are many games that do it better. Not all the sex partners are good looking at the start, Beware.

I don't like games where you must use walktrough guides to progress the game, Found myself wasting too much time figuring what to do as a gaming veteran who have played many games and in the end i was forced to use a guide which is long and tedious.

There were more gripes i had with the game but i said most of it, Maybe the game should be played with cheats but then how are you a peasant ?
There were sometimes glimmers of interest but it never took off, Even peasant girls take too much effort to have fun with and at some point the game became a chore so i stopped playing it.

We need to arrest Tinkerer because this game is a drug... Seriously, this must be virtual crack. I have no other explanation while you get so fast addicted to it.

At the moment the story is simple but exciting. The slowly unfold of the events are great. At the same you have an open-world element that befits the role of the hero. You get a good potion of grinding, but at the same it's not too much like in other games, i played.

Positive:
- good renders
- many girls with much content
- nice and continius updates (but still i need MORE!!!!!! )

Negative:
- Are there any negatives? Oh yes... Not enough game... Q.Q

1. Simple but such a good story
2. Perfect females no matter what they are they are sexy. Like how can you even make a dragon look that sexy just amazing.
3. The renders are to say a little mid class but i think for this game they are good.

Bad
1. The potions to create take a lot of ingredients that you need to explore a lot of places to get them. Without some potions you can't get the scenes you want and some last only 1 scene or to say until you cum
2. There are some bugs or to say things could be better or better planned.
3. Pregnancy happens random and you can miss some things. It happened to me and i had to use cheats
4. There are some NTR and Rape scenes that i really don't like them or even want to see them some can be skipped and some can not be.

Very good game, enjoyed whats done a lot and only see it getting better over time based on the current course. I have enjoyed that the creator frequently adds to the stories of previously added characters, making them feel more fleshed out and alive.

This game is one of those games which you probably spend hours of time to finish it. You have lots of shit to do, quests, farming, getting in the panties and all of that. You are slowly climbing your way to success and becoming something bigger than you were before. You are now a peasant but as the game goes you will become much powerful.

okay this is undoubtedly the best rpgm/rpg game i have ever played. there is sex, pregnancy and a TON of quests! add to that mythical creatures and a medieval fantasy set-up, it cannot get better than this. it took me about 14+ hours to complete this version(with occasional help from the walkthrough).
i used to hate rpgm but this game changed that. definitely recommend to try it out!
(friendly warning to all newbies like me: while playing, please save as frequently as possible or you may regret it later ^_^') have fun!

So here we go with a more serious review(i'm reviewing ver. 1.41)

Story: For now it seems the simpliest story ever, random guy in a random fantasy-medieval village and trying to be the hero...simply, clear, no plothole(for now), a lot of cool quests, some grinding needed(but i used a save editor, sorry @muttdoggy). So much things/quests to do. LOVE IT!

Graphic: first impression was "eugh, i don't like it" but during the game i changed my mind, now i hope someone use this kind of renders, literally i can't say anything bad, it's not Bright Sun Studio or Milfy City...but in this game those kind of renders/graphic, would be a bad thing for this game(maybe, BBS for sure, the graphic used in Milfy City could be cool, more light colors...buuut i don't know xD i feel like if the renders change i may hate the game but at the same time i want to see how it could look)

Bonus: Pregnancy! It's not a kink of mine, but it makes the game more realistic! Also the choice to make pregnant other characters(by using potions) i kinda like it, a lot!

Malus: 8 hours of playing and i want more, more content, more quest, more Friya(the giant woman?) content pretty please, even Erini could be good u.u

Great game. Some of the best fantasy girls out there with lots of creampies and pregnancy system. It is well balanced after a few struggles at the begining that you can pretty much avoid.
Could be nice to have more options in equipment because at certain point money only serves the purpouse to mantain access to your village home.
Anyways it is a growing game with lots of content at this point that keeps you coming for more.

Good game . Appart from a one bug where if I impregnate Frida then she doesn't give me pup closing further challenges with Mia nor does she wear the dress. The puzzles are pretty challenging and the scenes we get after solving them are rewarding as well. Since this is the first such RPGM I've played I'm just ignoring the negative comments. I do hope that Tinkerer hasn't abandoned the development and will add more quests and characters.

I'm usually not interested in RPGM games but I decided to give this one a try based on the images and I was not disappointed. Lots of fun with plenty of content, and it's pretty well paced so you don't have to grind too much for gold.

story: very good

characters: there is a lot and well done.

scenes(erotic ones): very hot.

draws(cg): very good.

gameplay: its kinda slow but, is well done.


conclussion: this game is massive, there is a lot of thing to do, lots to places
to be, and lots of people to talk. the quantity of characters doesnt affect the quality.
and the gameplay is preety fluid (just need a bit of grindy) another thing that is a plus in this game, is the
"choices" you made actualy affect the gameplay, and the plot and kinda make sense.

this game TOTTALLY deserve your time and money.

Now, I'm quite partial as I review within a set of limited factors.

Factor 1 being if there is actual content; and yes, there are several quests and events, many leading to full on sex. Wonderful! Non of that patreon preview beta on my watch!

Factor 2: Is there impregnation in the game? Now this is obviously the personal fetish points coming in to play, but this factor is the whole reason why some of us tries and plays games here. And yes, there is impregnation in this game! Now just and End Route picture but an actual system in which characters can become impregnated by the PC - most girls too! Great!

Anything else, quality-wise is not of great importance to me, but I will say it seems fine. Decent witting, often humerous, and some fair images I guess.

But I'd give full marks for merely the impregnation system and the content size in regards to scenes.

This game is really good!

A lot of fun quests to do, and the character development is also a lot of fun. Although a walktrough is really helpful, the game is very fun to play without guidance.

Enjoyable RPGM game with jarring flaws that bring the score down.

- Story and characters

Here we have a typical fantasy RPG with a relatable male MC. Control a mere peasant journing through a medieval fantastic world. Defeat enemies, do quests, fuck babes, get babies. It's simple and works. There's diversity between the characters and their quests are entertaining. The girls are beautiful (some not, but hey, they are fuckable).

- Visuals and Sound

The sounds are the usual RPGM assets, nothing to comment here. Visuals are from the DAZ models. I'm not a fan of DAZ, but i've already seen games that looked better using its models. It's decent tho. There's not much deformation on the characters and the girls are fapable enough, so it does a decent job with its renders. The cgs are well put with the text in the h-scenes, and the semen doesn't look too plastic like in some other 3D games. The game also uses custom 3D models for character sprites and portraits, instead of the usual RPGM visual assets, so plus points for that as well.

- Gameplay and Engine

Most bad points go here.
(Swallow) your poison: random encounters, slow damage scaling, grinding, unavoidable stat effects, missing attacks, walking around with a lot of backtrack, unintuitive quest log (easy to get lost/stuck).
The first minutes into the game are pure hell. Prepare yourself to grind for levels and money and count on luck to even hit the enemies. To finish the game without cheats i counted around 8 hrs.
There's also craft mechanincs for potions, food and other items. It's a good feature and even put in a elegant manner with some quests, but doesn't go well with the above mentioned points for the gameplay.
Combat gets better after you're able to equip two-handed weapon and armor, but you're still affected by some dreadful game mechanincs like getting tired and missing attacks.
And thankfully, despite the game having lot of backtrack, the maps aren't huge wastelands.
The engine is MV, so prepare your RAM. It's not bad choice for the game tho.
The UI is okay, nothing noteworthy.

- Sexual Content

The main kinks are fantasy races, impregnation and pregnancy. Also, all girls have big tits and bush.
The main objective is impregnate the girls, so always have a fertility potion at hand.
And i've gotta say, that's the main thing i love about this game. There already aren't many games where you can impregnate chicks, have pregnant sex and see the babies you spawn in 2D, in 3D there are even less. And the conquest feels even better when you're knocking up monstrous fantasy creatures, haha.
If i'm talking about personal preference, i'm not a fan of femdom, but nothing is extreme to bother me here.
If i'm talking about sexual content that might trigger others, see this:
- unavoidable bestiality with one heroine
- unavoidable gangbang with one heroine
- avoidable rape scenes with two heroines

- Final thoughts

I was initially thinking of giving this two stars, but after some thought, i realized i enjoyed the game enough to watch for future updates and play again. There's plenty of content to be enjoyed, however i just can't ignore the flaws on the gameplay side and how frustrating/boring the game can be at times, so i give it 3 stars for now.

The sex scenes are alluring but not fappable. I guess for my own sake this is because there are too few renders and not many angles in the scenes.
Some of the renders varies in quality because when running the game in full screen (or maximized as RPGM doesn't handle full screen...) they get artefacts.

Sound:
Just the normal RPGM UI sounds

Playability:
Without the walkthrough (which isn’t updated) and searching the thread the different parts are very difficult to understand what you are supposed to do. Or maybe I’m just stupid...

Performance:
The game starts to lagg in Wierdwood at times, I dunno why.

Bugs:
None that I can think of.

Animations:
The few animations currently in the game are well made.

Voice Acting:
There's no such thing.

Grammar:
When playing porn games I've become too used to machine translated text so I haven't registered anything so that must be a good sign. The text is comprehensible enough to make you understand the basics of the quest.

Amount of content:
This version takes a while to play, unfortunately not because of the amount of content but also the stupid grind and travel times, more on this below.

Conclusion:
As mentioned above, this game contains a lot of grind and travel time.

To begin with as per standard in RPG's you need to grind money to get better gear to be able to grind money faster in order to get better gear faster...
You will be able to craft the potions you need to save you from poison and etc AFTER you would need them in the first place.
Again, RPG logic (probably introduced by Blizzard)
For example, in one area there's a mob which gives you a quite nasty de-buff, but seeing you need to get drops from those mobs to be able to make the potion!
When you get there the next time you out levelled the content and just dash through it.

I solved the travel issues by fleeing from mobs whenever I could.

In order to see the sex scenes you have unlocked you need a special potion which results in more grinding for ingredients.

The current content took me about 7,5 hrs to complete, 50% of the time was running around grinding and traveling between areas.
30% solving the quests 20% watching sex scenes.

It would be nice if it was possible to hide the text frame, but I guess this is a limitation in the RPGM framework...

It is difficult to fairly judge a game under development but at this point I want to give this game a 2/5 rating.
But seeing I actually enjoyed playing the game and regardless of the negatives above I gave it 3/5.

One of the best games out there, with unique and amazing characters and character models. You won't find the type of girls shown ingame anywhere else. From large to tiny and anything in between, variety is the name of the game with one commonality, impregnation and pregnancy. Yay!

this is one of the greatest fantasy games i have ever played , even that it use rpg maker that im not a fun of yet it still great , the story is well done ,interesting npc that keep getting better and better whith every update ,good art , when it come to medieval age fantasy games , this one is a masterpiece.

Though the UI is weak and the first hours are very grindy, the crisp and sexy CG's and fun quests should keep most people entertained.
I spent about 9 hours on the game, and I don't regret a single second. The game is hot, fun, well written; it's one of the better RPGM games I've played.

I love this game. It is dynamic and offers many options. There are also various female creatures, but they are all kind of hot.I hope that the continuation will continue to be exciting as before.
