This slow approach worries me. I have already seen the outcome of slow approaches in games like Amnesia, AWAM, TB so another slow burn doesn't sound too exciting.

This slow approach worries me. I have already seen the outcome of slow approaches in games like Amnesia, AWAM, TB so another slow burn doesn't sound too exciting.

The biggest problem here is, none of these devs seems to understand why True Bond was actually a banger. The slow burn allowed the characters to build and become likable; with Clouds excellent writing and unique situations it was poised to have such fun pay offs.
There is a reason lingerie is sexier than nudity, it's the tease of the thing. Now all the spin offs have all these extra characters and pointless harem story lines because they never got what made it so likable in the first place.
