Permanent Filter

Is there a way to make a permanent filter or just "remember preferences"?

There is content I would really like not to see and the only solutions available today are:

1 - Enter the thread you'd like not to see and ignore it (still appears but blacked out)
2 - Enter filters every single time one gets on the Latest Updates page.

I've searched a bit here and noticed it has been already asked/requested previously.
Honestly I think it would be a great implement.

Bookmark that search. If you looks in the latest feature request for this it will be added eventually, but like other things with the (don't ask when) site update.
