Why does the title on me is "permit" and not the game icon, and it's not compatible for my phone?

not sure if it'll play in ruffle or NGplayer
sadly most modern phones wont even let you install anything flash. so. some devices can't play it.
more people need to complain to phone and browser manufacturers that they found a bunch of old games in swf format and their devices can;t play it, that it should be a user choice whether to have flash or not.

So...basically, this game is a goner now huh. Was really looking for it though but knowing mew games... yikes.
He's made it so that the swf wont run in most flash players. most just quit. flashplayer 10 opens it but then encounters an error and quits, but has sound.
He's currently running it with some form of "samsung flash player" which doesn't support sound playback.
EDIT: it does support sound, but the themesong is gone, and theres no sound in the sandbox.

Are you in his discord/patreon/whatever? Does he post any news or explainations about the game getting progressive downgrades? And what's the general reception?

I stopped doing discord back when they pushed a "Accept our new terms of service to continue: we can use anything you upload here for profit or our partner's profit, we name google as our partner, btw we are a US company but we are choosing to force our users to be held to EU law regardless where they are, oh also agreeing to arbitration is mandatory now, you cannot opt out." and I never joined Mew games' discord server.
Patreon, I once started up a patreon drive of my own. but I was not really ready to release anything at the time. luckily I got no donors other than my brother. but it may still be active, just patreon stopped working in non-googled browsers that have flashplayer(so I haven't logged in for years and years. and I'm a privateer of the internets so I don't spend on most stuff and never donated to mewgames.
my info is coming from playing the game as uploaded to this thread, and from other posters in this thread.
From what I've read here, Dong/MewGames Explained that he ran into issues with the game the way he had made it, where because of how he programmed it, it would be hard to continue forwards with the game to include the features he and his patrons wanted to include. So he began reprogramming parts of it in a way that would work. From there I guess he got overburdenned to just include new features his patrons wanted.
From what I've seen of threads about his other works, they all took a similar direction of travel till they got to a point he stopped working on them (for lack of motivation, or it became too big a task for him, or too tedious etc.) and started a new project because it was more fun for him and easier than continuing an old project.
I wouldn't count him out, but idk, this is all just a guess based on his updates to previous games.
in previous games he removed girls, removed sex scenes, and limited options in the remaining scenes, included some new features for quality of life and gameplay, then abandonned them. Nevertheless when this has happened in the past users have cracked/hacked those flash games and found that all the girls, sex scenes and majority of animations for each option were infact still there in the game file so they cracked it and put out a version with those things unlocked. but this has not taken place yet for Permit Deny, likely because it has only been a month or 2 since he posted the last update and it's not as broken as some of his other games, yet.
tbh, right now 1.1.2a is fairly good in design, and alot of the main features are still there. except there's no save button, but that's ok as it never worked anyways and formerly froze the game. now instead of a save button we have a "Give me Experience" button and a "Give me Gold and Experience" button. oh and it looks like he did fix somethings because the sandbox works again! Overall, I'd say this is good progress, it looks as though this game is not abandonned, yet. It looks like it's just starting to take shape.
and for me? free booty is always to be commended if I can get ahold of it.
now we just be needin a feature where when you click on a girl's Information Cell in your diary it ups their hearts.

Sure hope so, it has a chill gameplay loop, good graphics and animations. Reading this comment thread tho... It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence
