Perverted loser MC or chad MC?

I'm making a 'cest game and wondering if I should use a fugly MC or a decent looking dude as an MC. Was thinking about making a tease and sex-heavy visual novel where there is no grand plot besides the MC being a heartless, psychopathic bastard who will use cunning, deceit and blackmail to get him some Alabama fun time. Regardless of which model I use, they're going to be written the same, essentially though the details may vary because of their looks.

I don't know, part of me is leaning towards the ugly bastard. Could make for a much more fun story. For the better looking guy, it wouldn't make as much sense for him to be resorting to cunning, deceit, and blackmail to get some fun if he can get it using his looks. And if he doesn't, then the story just becomes a typical vanilla 'cest story. If I use ugly bastard as MC, people might have a problem seeing his ugly looking ass all the time though, let alone seeing him fucking any of the girls. Was thinking of using the good looking guy to be MC's sister's boyfriend who he has to cuck if I decide to go down that route.

Edit: After a few replies, I should caveat this post with additional information. The whole point of the VN I'm making is to be a not-so-serious wincest blueball simulator/fuckfest with titties galore. I'm only interested in advice specifically for a perverted loser character in a more fun, light-hearted (but fucked up) story.

Sure, an ugly bastard actually being extremely competent and some sort of mastermind does sound fun
But watch out though, if you make him intelligent you can't exactly make him a loser prior to the story, it simply wouldnt make sense
So whether or not they're attractive might only change how people treat them, but if the mc is a good manipulator they'd honestly have a good life

I would say that the safe bet is to just go with an everyman. Can't really go too far wrong with an everyman.

That being said, from the options given I would argue for the "Chad". Just because a dude is better looking doesn't mean his sisters/mom are just going to jump into bed with him. In fact, the tension between the moral understanding that what she is doing is wrong and her sexual desires is a way way hotter place to put your FMCs than just "raped till she liked it" which is boring AND stupid (and gross, but we're all degens here).

In my current game, my MC is a guy with 3 personalities, adjusted by the player (the dom who is an asshole most of times, an average dude full of dad-joke types, and a submissive, intelligent and psycho personality as third). Just an average joe, not a loser but not a chad either, with a hell of mental issues. Physically... it's unknown, because it's a real porn game, so the MC body changes constantly from clip to clip (a compromise I had to do in order to make the NPCs consistant). The cause of the 3 personalities... is a twist I didn't put in the game... YET, but it will be the final twist before I end it completely.

In my next game, it will be a good looking hairy 40ish bear cop, with a HELL of internalized homophobia and some other issues I didn't explore in the first game. Oh, also a werewolf too.

I think the most important thing to determine if he is a chad or a loser is personality and since it's going to be the same either way you're probably fine. As long as he isn't a spineless loser I'm just fine with an ugly bastard MC. Not that he's that much worse than many other games MC. Plus the guy on the left is far from giving chad vibes. Can't say I'm a fan of that model at all.

For the sake of the plot I think I like the ugly bastard idea better. Instead of just another game where everyone is attracted to MC from the start if he's desperate and ruthless it could be a much more interesting and unique game.

I've never liked the loser MC. Not overly fond of the chad MC either, unless the story has a reason for it. Somewhere less than chad, but still good looking enough to be believable when women are attracted to him and a good personality. But most importantly, an MC that doesn't nut on his mom while she's sleeping would be a good change of pace.

That "chad" MC looks like a 37 year old guy with no stable job who you'd find bumming a cig at a gas station anywhere in the Balkans (not a chad). That being said, definitely go for an ugly/average looking MC for that plot, just don't show his face too much nobody wants to see a guy's face in porn anyway. That being said, those female models you made have an exquisite style, i really like it, excited to see your game.

Was thinking about the MC being a spoiled little Mommy's boy because he's the ugly duckling in the family and the only son, so he gets away with some shit. But of course, he'd take advantage of this. Also, he's a perverted little shit with a sister who calls his out on his shit, and a Dad who's looking for any reason to cut his dick off so he has to metaphorically play in the dark.

Oof, yeah this guy will most definitely only nut on his Mommy while she's sleeping. That being said, I have plans for a much deeper and grounded romance incest story, I just don't have it fully written out yet as the writing is a little too intricate for me to start releasing without having a clear outline. This project is kinda intended to be a fun and much easier to write project while I slowly outline the story and improve my art skills for that. Plus, I'm kinda in the mood for "bad guy" stuff atm.

Two things to consider: One, it is better if your game is distinctive but turns off some people, than if it is so bland that no one cares at all. Second, as far as I know it is (nearly?) impossible to make a good looking male character in HS2 (certainly none of your examples do, while your female character is nice). So why not lean into that and make him ugly on purpose?

None of the family members of MMC is ugly except MMC himself. At least make him slim and not a fat one, keep face as it is. You can make him bearable this way.
