Yes, my region has been set to japan for ages now because of these games. Here are some examples of the issues ive faced so far. I genuinely do not know what the issue is but I think its something on my end? Since i dont think ive seen anyone else complaining about these problems ive encountered.

I didn't have them... on version 0.922. The link has since been updated to version 0.93, and when I tried loading my v0.922 saves on it, I got the same problems you're describing now. Loading any file after the endboss, gets me the endless looping chatter; going back to fight the endboss again, gets me the missing image error and stops me from proceeding to postgame.

I just tried attaching v0.922's zip file to this post, but it says the file's too large to fit... Hm.

Edit: I just tried copying v0.922's image folder into v0.93's image folder, and pressed "Skip all" on the files that were already present. This fixed the missing-image errors, though I don't know how many files were actually missing nor which ones: some experimentation caused the missing-image error to pop up over and over with new filenames each time, so I don't have the means to upload a zip file of just all the missing images.
The chatter loop still happens afterward, though. I don't know what to do about that one.

Looks to just be an issue on the new version of the game 0.93 then? Guess there really isn't much we can do except play the older version (if you have access to it) or wait for a update/ patch.
