v0.3.6.8
This game could easily be a solid 4/5 if the game was more polished, and if questlines were finished before introducing new questlines.
Pros
+ many great animated H-scenes but with thrusting audio (no moaning)
+ attractive models
+ monster girls
Cons
-
Inconsistent navigation controls and no map
- sometimes you get dungeon crawler controls, but other times your movement buttons don't do what you'd expect. Let's say you want to turn left/right, sometimes the left/right buttons do that but other times you're character just runs to a new location. Then you're trying to backtrack just to go the right way, but then you trigger random encounters, wasting more of your time and often times disorients you more. This is the only game where I need to save and reload just to move around
- You can't use the arrow keys or WASD to move. You have to click on the arrow buttons on the screen.
- Most doors you can walk through by pressing up. Some doors require you to click on the handle, or an access panel to open. That inconsistency is sometimes a problem when you're supposed to explore a zone to pick up a key item. You don't realize you can access the zone since the door appears to be locked because pressing up doesn't get you in
-
Lots of unfinished and messy questlines - Some quests are a pain in the ass to get through because it's not clear where you're supposed to go. Unfinished questlines are even worse because as the player, you're not likely to remember where you left off and where you're supposed to go. Some questlines were meant to be updated in the next update, but then never see an update for months
- Huntress questline 0.3.5.4.2
- Leo's Workshop questline is extremely messy and unintuitive. On top of that it's dark AF, the alarms keep ringing and the area doesn't get brighter even after restoring power
- beating the drow hunter doesn't award you the yellow gemstone. Currently you get nothing (apart from an optional gay scene) since 0.3.6.7
- no progress on freeing Shortstack
- Unlocking the H-scenes for the Spirit is very unintuitive and a pain in the ass
- the three statues in the temple remains unfinished since the temple was introduced. It's difficult to say what the doll was meant to do
-
The in-game hint/quest system is terrible - Often times it's not clear where you're supposed to go or how you're supposed to progress. In its current state, it's
unplayable without a walkthough. However the walkthrough is not perfect, sometimes it's still confusing where you need to go. If the developer divided each quest into a series of steps, then gave you the appropriate hint for the step you're on, this would not be a problem.
-
No fix for known problems that the community repeatedly complained about
- The station (aka Leo's Workshop) is too dark and doesn't get brighter even after restoring power.
- the succubus loses 1 love if not fucked daily. Gains +2 love (on the next day) for fucking 5x a day, but if fucked 10x, you gain 0 love the next day
- Bath in the temple (Ares statue room) refills your balls, but seems to be unfinished
- The game has a gay tag, the gay content is sparce and interwoven with the straight content. The initial encounter with the demon isn't a real path yet. Just about all the encounters you get in this game are monster girls vs a male protagonist, so the content doesn't lend itself to the gay audience. However recently there have been 2 new gay scenes (Leo & Drow hunter). Leo's gay segment is manditory to unlock a certain straight scene in the swamp
Note: Adding a few gay enemies here and there is NOT a good direction because it's a turn off for straight guys, the rest of the content just doesn't work for gay people. It's better to specialize on a version with only female enemies that cater to straight people, and then another version with only male enemies for gay people. Doing a mix of everything ruins the game for most people.

No Gallery
- Some quests and abilities are gated behind needlessly grindy and repetitive gameplay
- Leo's fish quest requires "romance" on many many days before he'll give you the fishing quest. You can only romance him once per day, so it's REALLY slow. It's one thing if you want to actually romance him to unlock scenes, but gating a separate interaction with an NPC you can already visit but can't interact with, by Leo's "romance" stat is stupid
- Slimegirl's abilities unlocks are gated by how many times you've fed her. She can only be fed once a day and one of these unlocks require 60 feeds. VERY GRINDY. And unlocking an ability subtracts from the total number of times you've fed her. So getting to 60 feeds doesn't unlock every single ability, it just lets you buy the most expensive one.
- Building up love score (relationship points) is needlessly grindy and repetitive. Interactions with each character is usually capped to roughly once a day. Some characters have combat abilities that are gated behind love score
Quality of life suggestions
- Fast travel to jump to some of these zones would be nice (like the basement, the beach, the swamp). Something like what you can already do at your bed for fast traveling to the slimegirl's lair would be good.
- A recall item (like a homeward bone) to go back to your cell
- Add maps. Either a mini-map or a full screen map that can be opened up. It would be nice if the map had room labels
- Label the rooms so that it's easy to point out where to go. Currently, you'd have to describe the room to people who need help
- In-game hint system that allows you to ask about a specific quest would be nice
- Arrow key and or WASD navigation. Stick to dungeon crawler navigation controls for every zone. Left and Right to turn, Up and Down for moving forward and back.
- An indicator on the questlist for players that they have progressed the quest as far as possible for this version, so that there is no confusion about missing stuff to progress further
Conclusion
This game has a great concept, but is plagued by many small issues that make the game annoying to play and the developer doesn't seem to prioritize fixing them. When you realize that many of the known issues have gone on without a fix for many, many updates, it becomes a worrying trend. If the trend continues, the game will become a giant mess of loose ends.
Update: Update 0.3.6.7 has finished up one of the unfinished questlines. It's a step in the right direction, time will tell if more things get fixed
