The torch goes out because you wander there for a long time. This shows that you are lost. After you find the necklace, you need to go only on the right side. THE DIRECTION IS SHOWN ONLY ON THE FORKS.

Fishing game is broken, old mechanism was better. Just remove the minigame if its in the state as it is right now. Use % chance and purchase bait.
