The game is both good and fun. And the developers are great.

Pixel animation is of good quality as usual. The story, at first I didn't expect anything, but it turned out to be very good. The puzzles... I can't tell if it's difficult or easy. But still playing as usual Which is good.

From having played 3 games from this developer, I can tell you that the developers know what game they are making, what they are good at, what advantages they have and use them to the utmost. So it turned out to be an H game that even though it's Pixel, the content is good. It's fun to play, fun to watch. The game has its own identity. Game length is good. Therefore it is not difficult to give 5 stars out of 5 stars.

This sequel has more help. Can scan for clues. There are notes to help you write down what clues you find. But even if you have it, it's like it doesn't help. The hint is confused and incomplete. Plus it's a sequel with more features. System for exploring alone or with friends. And Wider map
When I couldn't find a way to continue, I had to talk all over again. Hints hardly help. So I got a little hot-headed while playing. But anyone who has a bit of wit, it probably won't be difficult.

Not too big, but quite a bit of nsfw scenes. I like the storyline as well, it not particularly deep, but it is engaging enough for a porn game. Although this game is a sequel, I found it easy enough to understand with the very brief recap they give at the beginning.

I wrote out a big long review then accidentaly clicked the 'Reviewing Rules' button before posting and lost it all.

Akanemochi Second is a good game that improved upon the first in almost every way. The majority of scenes are now able to be acquired without a game-over attached and the game itself has nearly double the amount of scenes as the first game, though it isn't perfect.

    CHARACTERS

Fuu is the new main character for the series (And I say 'for the series' as she also appears to be the protagonist of the sequel/spin-off to this game) A mystical shrine maiden who has come to seal Akame for good and uses lewd acts to gather spiritual energy. In terms of her personality, she's alright. I prefered Aya from the first game, but Fuu is good as well.

Speaking of Aya, she is also in the game. Though I can't help but feel that her inclusion is somewhat wasted here. She has barely any scenes and mainly exists to fill in the protagonist on the events of the first game, but outside of that she doesn't have much reason to be there, the player even has to keep splitting off from her to get additional scenes.

Haruka, Aya's younger sister returns as a secondary antagonist, her siscon behaviours are still there but she disappears from the plot fairly early on to go be evil and doesn't have a huge amount of interations once rescued so I can't help but feel that she could have been expanded further.

One character that is missing from the first game is Midori, Aya's best friend from the first game and one of the only characters to have a scene that didn't result in a game over in that game. Given Akanemachi Second takes place in the same town and Aya is still a large part of the story, Midori's exlusion from the sequel feels odd.

    SCENES

The scenes in the game are for the most part good, but some feel as though they end early or could have been expanded on further. Some events just feel as though they've been poorly thought out. This is likely just a result of the smaller scope of this game compared to other projects but I still feel I should bring it up.

For instance, there is a scenario in which a character gets assaulted and is traumatized, the solution provided to the player is drugged the character, kidnapping them and then having them assaulted again until they like it. It's really weird and feels a bit out of place.

Another scenario is the molesters storyline, essentially there are molestors operating on the train to the next town over. You see them target a girl and then go after the molesters themselves. While the scenes with the molesters are playing out, it's revealed the girl they targeted had actually come to enjoy it and wanted to join in. This results in her watching Fuu have sex while she masturbates, from there you would expect her to join in properly on the sex but instead the storyline just ends there and then.

There is another storyline in the game about a yellow handkerchief being used to mark a prostitution spot, you go there and confront the girl inside which has no scenes, then you use the spot to get information from one of her customers, which nets you one scene and then that storyline ends, no repeat scenes or expansion, it's just over.

This ties in in part to why I find Midori's exlusion from this game odd. In the first game she was prostituting herself to various people around the town and her scene involved Aya watching her like a voyeur in the bathroom stalls, the molestation scenario involves a voyeurism aspect and the prostitution scenario involves... Well, prostitution, yet Midori is not used here and instead random characters are. I just feel she could have tied in better, as well as being an intersting way to get Aya involved in some scenes.

Speaking of Aya, she and Fuu do not have a scene together, which I find kind of sad as a big part of this game is about Fuu and Aya's relationship and them growing closer to one another (Them becoming best friends is required to get the true ending) despite this, they don't share any scenes and it feels like a missed opportunity.

    TL;DR

    Story is good, characters underutilized.

H-scenes good, could have been expanded further.

The sequel to the original Pixel town Akanemachi, a short game with excellent H-scenes, the second game proves to be superior in pretty much every way. Plot, length, scenes, hotter main character (Fuck you Aya fans, it's my review I say what I want), this game has it all!

The story starts with the meeting of our previous protaganist Aya and a new character called Fuu, an exorcist from out of town who's appeared to put the monster Akame down for good. It's chock full of interesting reveals, good characters and fun dialogue. There's a lot there and it really keeps you engaged as you move from scene to scene. While it's not terribly long, unlikely to take you more than a couple of hours, it's still an enjoyable journey.

If you'd played the previous game then you'll be familiar with the gameplay, reminiscent of old adventure games where you find items, trigger dialogue and move to the next scene. There's a few new additions, while holding shift Fuu can see corruption which helps you figure out where to start looking. It's not terribly in depth or engaging but it serves it's purpose. Though you might want to refer to the guide on occasion if you get lost, which is thankfully already included with the game.

Finally onto the porn. It's great. Fantastic animated pixel art, a large quantity and variety of scenes, especially for the overall length of the game. If you're just here to get your rocks off then you're golden.

All in all, this game has pretty much everything you'd want from something on this site. It's not very long, and it barely qualifies as having 'gameplay', but those are really the only criticisms I could bring against it. Give it a go!

Its not that bad honestly the pixel animations are pretty cool and different. Its not to difficult of a game and its pretty straight forward. The translations are not entirely bad but since a lot of the file names are in another language it makes loading some of them really hard and you have to find them and fix them so they actually work but its mostly sound files if not only sound files.

Another good game from Sprite Hills.
    - Great Porn Pixel Arts
    - Zero combat gameplay
    - Lots of optional content to discover
    - Great plot, character and ending

Here's hoping for the sequel to get translated fast enough

Pretty Short and Erotic game added with well written story

Simple gameplay find some clues and go solve it [In SOME way lol]

Man the H-Scenes are soo smooth for a pixel based animation.
