holy shit. time to learn coding


And you know what, it really got me thinking. There are tons of tutorials on the internet.
Maybe we can learn how to make a game like this. Like, instead of waiting and begging some dev to make a game the way I would like, I could make a game which would be exactly how I want it to be?
On the other way, I am pretty stupid. Look at the way I just copied that old posts. But, some other person might! Just make something with a pretty blonde, working in a restaurant, or bar, or diner, or burger joint, who cares. Make it look really pretty, similarly like this game, but then make the story go really nasty, ha ha. I mean forget 2023. If they start today. If the person starts learning today. They might still be in the race.
Hell, they might still win the race!

Yeah imagine we all somehow manage to push out a game like this that is actually complete. I mean at the speed this is updated we may even have a shot lol. I can see the thread description already when some uploader posts it.

Actual Hot Pizza!

The people at the Pizza Hot! thread were so bored out of their mind they somehow learned coding, animation, drawing, and all sorts of stuff and then put their effort together just to actually make the game themselves because they were just so fucking tired of waiting.

NOTE: Pizza Hot is still not complete, only at V0.46 Last update corrected the color of a tree and added 2 new lines of dialogue.​

Well, if you're going for an exact replica/style of this game, all you'd need is a programmer with a decent knowledge of unity, a writer for the story ( who would probably be a double role gor the programmer like our dear friend from here), and a artist that is overly familiar with the "spine 2d rigging software".

Not certain that spine is exactly what the dev uses here, but it was often boasted about during my days stalking the LOK rebirth thread.

Then again, you can probably just work with something like godot if unity is a no go, or hell, even rpg maker if youre desperate, as the actual restaurant mechanics arent too complicated to begin with (its the upgrade system that was often talked about that'll be the bitch to implement).
The real kicker is getting an artist to do a hell of a lot of work, not just the drawing but the animations (i assume stills aren't what we're after, which is the point of spine).

Honestly you'd be looking at 3 months for a demo, assuming the team is working part time/as a hobby, UNLESS some kind of kickstarter is made to raise funds to get an uber team of actual (semi) professionals together in some kind of porno avengers assemble.
