So... back in December (I think it was 0.13d) the game was no longer playable on Linux through wine. Some weirdness going on with mono that is shipped along with the game.

I see 14b2 still doesn't start (albeit without error). I also tried 0.13f (also no error), same problem. There's nothing to see in the Player.log file so I tried adding BepinEx to get some kind of details but even BepinEx fails to initialize which means its something very early at startup that is failing (silently, no less).

Switched wine to claim it is Windows 10, no dice.
Windows 11, nothing.
Made a new wine prefix, nope.
Added vcrun2015 and upwards, no.
Added dotnet472 and upwards, no.
Tried running the game in a Windows 7 virtual machine, nothing.

My guess at this point is that somewhere it fails to detect a particular CPU feature and therefore terminates the game. I can spend several days with ILSpy to find it but since I appear to be the only one to have this problem I guess I will have to put this game down.

Shame, it was good too.

What can i do when my saves are incompatible?

I've opened the old save from 0.13f in an editor and changed the version string to the new 0.14.beta2 and also the BetaTestMode to true:

Why doesn't the creator just add characters, dialogues and animations to make easy content ?

I have hit a few bugs. Sometimes sprits of guys don't load/show in the bus and also the restaurant.
Also had it now twice if 2 guys come into the restaurant some error about bloolean false set or so and the no more custoemrs come in and nothing progresses and I have to restart the scene or load latest autosave.

The fact that this game has over 3 mil views and a 3.9 rating means their are a lot of either extremely patient people or a lot of really stupid people. I am not sure which it is.

i mean its usually a good sign, but for something in .14, it feels like .01, like i get its 2 people, but just some weird choices
youd think at .14 you could visit more than work, home, massage, & a shop full of clothes you cant even wear
idk why you can wear skorts without panties, but the denim shorts are too much like HUH?
maybe there some stuff i missed by just cheating, but tbh the long intro, combined with how long it would take to get to that point, would just be better to have a free roam mode, or a gallery, & while the cheat mode is basically a gallery, still requires you to play

Jesus christ it took about an hour (30 minutes of that was waiting for dumb transition screens or Jenny walking through a room) to complete the content and that was it?

If you want to just see the new content, all you have to do is:
-start a new game
-choose the skip all content
-when you're loaded in, just skip time by clicking on the "morning/afternoon/evening" top left
-New event stuff requires you to go to dr yoshida for a massage "afternoon" twice, first is to trigger the event, second will let you accept the massage job.
-Once you do that, you'll be able to work in the "evening" time, just skip time to "evening" everyday, to see all the scenes(pretty underwhelming).

Had the same issue. Just went to my room and slept instead.
Next day got the same peckish message but then the father was in the kitchen.

I recall a game called Unaware in the City that has very similar art and characters, inc creation. It has more content, IIRC.

That's strange, I can play 0.13 with Wine, I'm not trying with 0.14 though. What distro you were on and what kind of driver/hardware you're running it with?

The same developer once released a game with the creative name "Pizza Cold." It actually had more content in its initial release than Pizza Hot did after four years.
Pizza Cold didn't receive a single update and was immediately abandoned. Presumably because the developer focused all his energy and creativity on Pizza Hot, this is why this game now has such an incredibly rapid update rate and an almost unmanageable amount of content.

Was so hyped for this game when it first appeared but calling it a slow burn is a major understatement. At this point you're better off just opening your own pizza place and hiring cute waitresses.

I don't like to say bad things about porn games, but it's porn, but this game is a game that has nothing in it, meaning there's no character progression or at least knowledge of how to advance something. Every day is the same day and you don't have the option not to go to the pizzeria because time won't pass. The gameplay is very repetitive, meaning you're a waitress. There's nothing sexual about this part. Yes, I know. It's important in the next updates, but it feels like an eternity until the next update. And Jane is still a virgin, even though I opened all the scenes on the bus, which is strange. I'm still waiting for the updates because I really liked the animation, but other than that, I have nothing else to look forward to. Anyone who hasn't played yet, I recommend waiting a year or two, because right now there's no content at all that can be said to be a game.
