brother just join the discord he actively makes dev updates {dev logs} for transparency, dont listen to the other idiots on this thread and see for yourself.
He started doing something actively (8 scenes in a massage parlor) after https://f95zone.to/threads/life-as-an-innocent-waitress-v0-1-0-frisson-studios.248631/ appeared
Before that, he constantly wrote about the fact that the restaurant needs to be completely redesigned, attempts to optimize the code, sorting, problems.

Since there will be changing rooms on the beach, he promises to add products to the lingerie store

I really wish the dev stopped adding random stuff and focused on more content at the workplace and what we have right now. He really needs to increase the lewd cap he has right now and add more events. I am fine with the slow burn, sure, but still, more stuff is needed.

This is one of those games I keep hanging on to even though no huge progress has been made. I will not assume the dev is this or that, but oh my god... this needs a considerable update and not just "I'm going to add fishnets that do nothing and a beach with one event where the men, hear this, LOOK at the character lewdly! Seriously.

The market has nothing, the house has some but could have more, same with the restaurant, and the massage just now got some content and it's not that much. I do wonder what the hold up is since the rest of the game works well and the some animations are already there. At this point there should be much more content, but the dev insists on "fixing" stuff that is not even broken. Also... I don't know game dev, but is it actually difficult to add some dialogue to a game? He's apparently to busy to do that... Genuine question there.

I would, without hesitation, throw some money at them IF progress was actually made, like, proper progress and not random additions.

Man for real. You really hit the nail on the head perfectly. That's exactly how I see it too.

Dude, you're right, but look at other games like UiTC, which currently has a lot of sexual content, but it still has little additional plot content and can be finished in a few hours. That's the problem with games like this called live style, where they try to try so many things like character decisions and route styles [work, escort girl, etc.] and don't forget that it's just a game developer, so it makes sense that it would take time to update. The only question you can ask is "how long?"

In my opinion, and I hope I'm wrong, the game will lose its route like UiTC, which currently has no real plot continuation or consequences for actions, only sexual scenes that don't give much change to the character or the world in which the character lives.

UiTC still has a good amount of content though, and the dev actually shows interest in making it better. It's been a while since I last played that though. Even if there's no main plot, there is something to do, events to see, variations to check out. It was never meant to be plot focused so that was to be expected, for it to branch out so much.

The thing is that Pizza Hot had a more focused, linear route: "girl finds job at fast food place, girl gets groped, girl accepts money for groping, girl pays rent with body, escalation." and funnily enough, that part, the very base of the game, has not seen any progress, not any that matters much. But suddenly the dev is adding many things that do nothing instead of focusing on one.

At this point she should be like... giving handjobs under the table, or calm some customers down by letting them touch her. She should even be doing BJs in the restroom or showing herself, at least, to some customers. But none of that is happening because the dev needs to add the beach where also nothing will happen

If he doesn't have time, then why keep branching out instead of continuing the events and characters at the restaurant?

The funny thing is, all this stuff he is adding is completely things that would be classed as dlc if this were a "normal game".

Hell, in terms of adult games, this sort of stuff ( all the non restaurant/home/bus areas) would be content added into a basically complete game to keep people subscribed/interested, usually while work on a second project gets started.

I love checking in on this thread every 6-8 months and see how much changed. Pizza Hot's initial release was in 2021 and it's 2025 now. What do we have to show for 4 years?

Meaningless side content that leads nowhere, unfinished and "alpha stage" main content and a months worth of internal debate whether our protag should react to wearing or trying on fishnets and whether other people should react to it.

Abelius. It's not that deep. Noone gives a fuck. Not the people in your fantasy world nor the players. I bet not even the protagonist in the story wants to give a damn, you just force her to.

Just for comparisons sake, Stardew Valley was made in roughly 4 years. Let that sink in. Undertale was made in around 3. Fucking Yandere Dev made more progress than you have. His dogshit game is playable, it works. You can do things, meaningless or not, you can beat the game, you can even enjoy the game if you're into that gameplay. You've got nothing. Scene after scene that largely do and mean nothing. Locations that offer no content or reason for existing so early on, just because you could. Yandere Dev took longer, but he has something to show for it. You've got nothing.

You know what these successful games do? They don't hyperfocus on the most unnecessary things or derail from content that should be finished 2 fucking years ago. They do that after the basegame is done. CA added so many things since the initial release, free of charge and with love.

Meanwhile you added a handful of scenes and content that I fucking bet I could recreate with an artist I like and pay from my own pocket - which isn't a lot as well - within the same timeframe, expand upon and improve marginally and even add a bunch of content on top of that. All without knowing how to code or animate at the moment. Hell, I'd create content first and put in placeholders and when people see and like what I offer, I'd ask for financial support but not to beg for pity and "pwease I need money, me children are starving", but to say "Hey, let's pay for the artist and animator together. If you don't, that's cool. It'll just be faster if you do. Cheers."

I'd also keep my mouth shut about progress, or lack thereof in your case, until major progress was made. Not because I don't like transparency, but because noone wants to hear about your internal debate about fishnet stockings reactions which you yourself then scrapped. Your progress reports arent a diary.

If your real life is seriously fucked, drop game development, it does you literally no favours. Quit. It's not bad to be a quitter, it's bad to be a scammer who collects a monthly paycheck, regardless of amount, without offering anything in return except for droplets - nay, crumbs of content.

Do better.

Then again, you won't read this and even if you were, I'd just be a hater and a troll in your eyes.
So keep doing what you're doing, I am thoroughly entertained to see this game still flop just as hard and still have lackluster content one day when I hit retirement age despite being in my 20's right now.

Well yeah because he know that in 1 year https://f95zone.to/threads/life-as-an-innocent-waitress-v0-1-0-frisson-studios.248631/ will have more progress than he's made in 4 years, and those 8 massage parlor scenes are so f*ckingly meaningless and pathetic.
Not to mention that the game is not called "Massage parlor hut".
Well i foresee an "Abandoned" tag in less than 1-2 years when every other waitress and massage parlor game are miles away in terms of content and if not all but 80-90% of the people that are paying him cut him off or switch to support those games.
And if we are talking about games that make more progress in 4 years we can also take https://f95zone.to/threads/karryns-prison-v1-3-0-90-full-dlcs-remtairy.33777/ (its not like you don't know about her) for example they started it around 2019 with good amount of content (working on 1 other game) and have a finished product in 3-4 years and from then on either they or fans keep adding stuff.
I think the only reason this game still don't have "Abandoned" tag slapped on it is because there are still people willing to pay for literally nothing (well it's their money who am i to tell them what to do with them) but as soon as the tap dry out we will see it and in few months a new shell of a game will pop up and well it will be "here we go again" business as usual.

The problem with this update, as I see it, is that it's focused solely on finishing a secondary large-scale quest that stretches to the end of the game. It doesn't motivate the audience to replay the game, because getting to that point is long, boring, and ultimately pointless - there are no meaningful changes or tweaks along the way, and the world doesn't react to the quest's completion either.

The problem is it isn't Hot. There's almost no lewdity, not to the levels of corruption anybody else would consider playing a girl for.

Instead like the rest of the jannification F95 has made another LGBTQ game. Turned her in a lesbian. No reason anybody else would play it. I didn't. It had a premise that should've seen corruption, becoming more and more deviant. No. Nowhere. None at all. Play with doll.

If Abelius hired out the art to someone else, then it could be a matter of "my artist finished the art for this area; I should probably write some content for it so I can add it to the game". Though I haven't been tracking development for a while, but sometimes that's why content creators do what they do because there's a matter of trying to be efficient with content as much as possible by continually keeping your team members paid and making sure none of them are left idle.

It works this way in general contracting/construction also.

So it's a team? Explain what the team are doing the rest of the year? Making another crap game? Or? Updates aren't regular. Any wages aren't really enough to cover a team unless they're shilling out more content under various pseudonyms. Meanwhile he collects rent, dulling out an update in what kind of average. The content is barely even a porno it used a premise baiting the market. Easy premise. It has minigames, playable instead of boring you to death with script and clicks, corruption and a setting which could work. Instead it adds nothing else after launch in any timeframe content or expectancy. Worked it out yet.

I guess so, but it seems he does everything himself. At least that's what he keeps saying, so it seems rather dumb to branch out so much when you know it's only you working on the project.

When it comes to the art stuff, including animations, I think it would be smarter to show it on their patreon and stuff and be like "My artist is doing some good crap, have a preview!" then they show us a little of it. That's assuming they were paid already. But making an entire area for one scene random scene out of nowhere seems a waste of time. I'm not in a hurry about anything, I have enough patience. I rather wait for a big batch of content than one minor scene and some text.

Boy those two games are awesome. If Karryn had a normal body instead of how she is it would probably be on my top five. I do understand people have their taste though. It's still an awesome one.

The other one shows some promise. I'm very patient so I just hope they don't end up going crazy. Funny enough, their first version already has more than enough to kick Pizza Hot's ass right now. Let's hope they head in the right direction.

Also this game Dilmur is amazing. One of my favorites. Has way more content even when it branched out. Also, the art is great. So if anyone wants to play something else I recommend this one too. It's not done but the content available will definitely please for now. Hoping they maintain the quality.

Dilmur stopped its content and it never finished. Aside it was an rpgm. No real rendering. It was a good game. But it was a scam. hook line and sink. Instead of completing an ablum. Why do they do this scam. If it hit steam is it more pofitable than stringing people along? Who knows and who cares. But what has drawn my debate is the fact it isn't complete and cannot be rated. 0. Not finished abandoned nets a 0.

Otherwise everybody would say Selena OHA. Literally far better. Another 0. The rating goes to Detective Girl of Steam City.
