In a shithole country like Spain, I'm pretty sure he's saving a good chunk of his earnings, and it's all going towards the Abelius Retirement Fund when he can't physically work on this game anymore. He’s been doing the same incessant bitching about not having enough money for years at this point, and it’s the biggest load of BS.
It’s a method to emotionally blackmail and guilt-trip his subscribers to continue their payments, nothing more. Notice how he also uses the “Think of the children!” fallacy to emotionally manipulate simpler minds.

It's not the best rule personally:
There are exceptions, for example Blue Fairy Media are very consistent about their release schedule and they share their health complications occasionally, including for current delay. It's really only an issue when their health complications/real life become the content, like say with author of Future Fragments. And sometimes dev only talks about the game, yet never releases any content too.

The game would crash even without it been launched, it would crash computers just by having the game on them like a virus, it would even make actual cars crashes happen. Such is the power of terrible optimization that even life itself would lag hard lol.
I absolutely hate that. That other dev has a game that works. Sure it has its flaws, but IT RUNS WELL. I would not take advice from someone who has worked on the same game for more than four years, claiming they have been fixing stuff, just for the game to borderline crash at every turn.
That other dev has already more content after only two updates! If anything it should be them telling this one what to do.
You wanna see a game made by ONE person that's bigger, convoluted, complex, interesting, with spaghetti code that will make you either useless or overpowered, and STILL somehow has more sexual content despite actually being a horror RPG and not a porn game and even has a sequel already with a super update coming!? Well... I can't tell the name. it's not For Everyone And Really hard, but it's on this site

Yeah just search that one word and it will be very obvious the game kind of doesn't belong lol. It's also the only one with a sequel on the list so yeah. Seriously though... absolutely not a game made for normal people. You either love it or wonder what the hell is wrong with everyone who does

Over here in Venezuela 6k$ a month are a fucking boon from the gods. That is good enough to be motivated lol. I would be thrilled about working on this game for that amount.

Okay, WE GET IT: the developer is shamelessly milking their audience, and the audience is more than HAPPY to give them their money. You don’t need to be so brainy to understand that, duh. It doesn't matter what excuse they've come up with — whether it's the incredible "quality™©" of the game, or the heartbreaking story about someone in the developer's family having cancer and his poor kids (if that's not just another made-up story by the developer), or the desire to buy a new car, pay bills, or whatever else he wants and blah-blah. What can you do about it? Is it your money? No. Can you bring down the rating on f95? No. Can you cause a stir on Discord or ask the donors why they're supporting this? No. All you can do is make poor "funny" or sarcastic comments that lead nowhere, and talk about how well you could live on such money and how you might spend it. Boo hoo! A typical impotent community of yet another poorly made hentai project.
Just use Unity or any other engine, watch/read a couple of tutorials on how to make a game with it, and you could release ten such games a day. There's an abundance of information on every little thing, tons of ready-made solutions, GPT/"AI" for lazy and braindead people — all at your disposal. Can't do it alone? Team up with people from the thread (or even with that fired designer from the game). Take the best ideas from the game and genre, create a good long "slow burn" story with good visuals, and voilà — your dick (or whatever you have instead) gets hard the moment the game opens.
Great content = Collect thousands of dollars = ... = Profit!
But, as the developer rightly pointed out, your place is to sit on "F95" and cry because you don’t like it. His game — his rules. Pathetic.
