It's already at same state as first one xD another lazy dev milking people for free.Oh. It's from that Dandy Boy Adventure dev. That's why it looked familiar.

Man, I feel sorry for this game's dev and its supporters. I hope he can release it and actually make a comeback, DBA was such a banger.

The hype has not died, no. The demo was positively received and the dev and publisher keep posting about the game to remind people it is still coming. One of the posts you shared saw the publisher confirm the game is coming in 2026. Ive seen rumors that its coming in February, which I hope is true since it will be a year since the demo launched at that point.
Hell yeah, let's hope it makes a Goonbillion dollars so we only have to wait 30 years for DBA.
