We don't even will have romantic relationships with all the existing characters, let alone those who haven't been added or don't have social connections yet. At best, we'll have a choice of one girl and one boy for each group of characters, because, quote, "I don't want to turn this into a dating simulator, I want to make a Pokémon story."

I thought it was supposed to be both, honestly.
Can't say I'm happy to hear this...

Is it okay to point out I absolutely hate the dungeoun mechanics? They wouldnt be so bad if you could save during it so if you do lose to the final boss its not an immidiate game over and start all over again. Like why? Seriously. Yes you can choose not to play, but you come off as an ass hole to everyone in the room who busted their ass to bring you back.

They used to be a lot worse to play through.
This was like the 4th version of them, each time it was a major revamp.
They were a major point of contention for a long time.

Count your blessings you won't ever have to see it.
(Also you won't see them again after this week except for an optional one, so it won't be too common)

That's great to here. Now I'm just over here getting steam rolled by Professor Cherry's Quagsire. ‍♂ It's a rough life I guess. Nvm. I got it figured out.

The past versions' ones were even more of a mess, but if built your pikachu right with the foreverals you could just breeze through the dungeons almost effortlessly.

Okay I have a question yall, why are my pokemon not leveling up? They could each be at 31 right now, and im struggling to get them past 23. What am I doing wrong? Any advice to boost them all to where they should be?

Attend classes to increase the maximum level of your Pokémon. Pikachu’s maximum level will always be one level higher than the highest maximum level of your other Pokémon. Focus on 2–3 types at the beginning. By the end of the game, you’re expected to have mastered 6.5 Pokémon types.

My dragons class has their levels to be possible at level 31. But they are barely getting any experiance from anything so they arent keeping up. My question wasnt how to go to classes to increase the levels they can obtain, but if there is a quicker or more efficient way of leveling up that isnt obvious. Im aware of battling in the different wild areas, using your bonds with other trainers who reflect the same type of pokemon your using, but none of that seems to be getting me anywhere.

The real question is, what does the game tell you when you ask dommy mommy what level you're expected to be?

Trying to grind past expected threshold isn't going to be effective, nor is there any real reason to. I'd expect for areas with appropriate levels and xp income to be added when the plot calls for it, same way the game was doing up to this point.

I get what your saying, but I hate that. Grinding levels has always been a pretty big thing in pokemon games. Why force a limitation to keep someone from doing that in a pokemon game? If Im expected to stick with 1 or 2 classes/types of pokemon, then why shouldnt we be able to keep our pokemons levels up to that level? Makes no sense other then to make a the game more challenging then necessary.

I imagine the answer would be, because once the game is complete or just expanded further, there isn't going to be any real point of such grinding in low level areas -- you'll gain xp for the level at reasonable pace simply following the story. and higher xp areas you'll get access to. After all, it's not that you're explicitly kept from grinding. It's more that it's simply suboptimal and if people do it now, it's mostly because with the temporary end of story where it is, there just isn't anything else for them to do.

Buy the Exp. condenser from Gardenia's shop (don't forget to activate it on the backpack), then put the Exp. share on a level 1 pokemon that can't level up, like something you get from an egg. Bring that one along to a grinding area and you should get some decent exp on the condenser while you grind, then convert the xp into candies to give the exp to the desired pokemon, Keep in mind that they get diminished returns the higher their level is, I don't know the specifics but I've seen cuts of the order of 50% of the amount the candy is supposed to give... there's always the cheat engine too if you want to bypass all of that, you can even edit the IVs, the class levels of every type and your money.
