Now, on the flipside concerning the diffculty of the minigame, I don't want to sound rude but anyone having a hard time might want to turn off the minigame at your first possible chance, because honestly compared to the images shared by beta testers this is like getting a hug from an ashy baby while beta testers were getting slammed face first onto the concrete with sharp rusty rebar poking out 100 times.
Because i kinda started the cascade with my initial post. I wanted to clarify.
I do like the content & overall the systems are easy to understand. Even the DnD tutorial game with our housemates was very well explained.
Its also easy to stomp everything with the range attack due Pikachus type change ability.
My sole issue is the ui/control scheme. As previously mentioned in the mode switch i somehow skipped turns. All i wanted to do was use the other 3 party members. Now with a cheese strat by just using MC/Pikachu & running away i managed to clear the first dungeon. Took me a while because i could only use our main character. So for me the content & overall encounter loop are fine as is. Its cool that they replicate the og pixelart mystery dungeon style.
However....
If we could use our keyboard to emulate the GBA/DS inputs that would be great. I am not sure if its possible with the logistics behind the game. As PALF is already a colossus project on its own.
Maybe future updates resolve whatever is going on with the FE mode on my end. Its not my first rodeo with indie games so things like that happen.
I will beat the dungeons to rescue everyone.
No matter how many times i have to reload.
