What I am gonna do is complain about why you'd not just have alternate sprites between male and female 'mon sprites. Like, maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't the Gen 3 games introduce the concept of visible gender differences (e.g.: female Pikachu and Raichu have clipped tails, female Gloom and Vileplume have larger petal spots, etc)? Just seems like a massive wasted opportunity, is all.

It's just a sprite swap from a buggy Emerald patch with some additional extra frames here and there putted in. That's all. I can't really find much more else within the code as it's mostly just vanilla Emerald.
