There's a lot of nice additions to this, but they made the fatal mistake of adding Fairy as a type. There aren't enough Dragon types in Gen III to matter, why include one of the worst additions to Pokemon as a balancing measure against six total Pokemon that only two trainer types have and which are late game anyways?

The most safest way would be by extracting the rom from the cardridge you already own.

Indeed via Beauty, but there's a second method implemented called "35" of a value of 91, but I have no idea what that is.

Apparantly there's the custom item called the 'Prism Scale' in the rom hack. So you could assume you could evolve Feebas like that as well. That item however doesn't have any additional item data however what it's supposed to have to function properly, so ye. Worth a try if you somehow can find that item, I guess.

I'm at github, but i can't figure out how to properly download a ROM that doesn't cause a Checksum Mismatch as nothing there makes any sense whatsoever and there is a complete lack of a download option.

Looking at the file extention alone you did clearly something wrong. No idea what you did wrong. I can't help you further either. If you really want the most safe (and easiest) way of getting roms, you should rip them from your own cardridges you already own, which I previously already told you and I'll keep saying that. I have my own cartridge from 20 years ago.

There are roms somewhere scattered on the internet with the correct checksum which is conciderred "safe" with no sketchy virusses or whatever. You just fail to find them. I can't link you them or tell you where or how to find these. Telling your ISP you engage with piracy of copyrighted material is all on you. It's newbies like you that make this whole rom hacking department an illigal thing and make it look bad instead of being it a grey area.

This is coming from a (former) rom hacker's perspective.

Look at the brackets at the end of the name of the file wherre you got that. It's already patched with some data and the checksum has been changed. You can't apply that patch with that one. You have to aqquire a clean rom (from a cardridge etc.) to patch it with the 0.6.3 patch.


This also already have been stated before. So many newbies getting in touch with the world of rom hacking for the first time. Good lord.

No idea. Probably some more extra AI generated sprites and with some minor chages. The rom hack from the inside is still a buggy mess with a lot of errors, but that's what you get if the dev used a rom base that has been abandoned and no longer been supported.

Can I patch my 6.2 version to keep playing on my save? I really don't want to lose my progress, but I tried copying the files from the old folder into the new one and the game didn't give me the option to load a save.
