Is the special dragonair bugged in this version? I keep breeding her on risky days, going to sleep but she never hands me an egg. Also, should really be a "no egg" and "no requests" prompt. without it, it feels buggy

Not every special Pokemon has a Hybrid yet, the Hybrids are special pokemon and have unique abilities and stats so we're gonna have to wait for a few of em to get their special hybrids.
It will take a while, but try fishing for shelders.
They can hold either a small pearl or a big pearl.
You can just steal the items with moves like Covet too.
I remember slateport market and the herb shop at fallabor. And maybe some mining for the fight gems? Not sure on that one.

Just did the Lillie quest and return her to her mom. The next portion of the quest say I have to talk to Gal Goodgirl but I can't find her in the city. Help?
It doesn't tell you to, but head back to dewford and complete the gym battle there. Once that's done, returning to rustboro should trigger a cutscene with Gal that starts the next bit.
Here's a tip for those trying to look for water gems for Feebas/ Lapras. Save before you mine a node, if you mine out a gem from that node but didn't get the right One. Simply reset and that particular mining node will always contain a different gem
how do you even beat the grunt duo in dewford cave without grinding like hell bec their shadow pokemon is way too strong for pokemons of the same level even with the null berry. It's a boner killer to grind in pokemon

You introduce shadow pokemon, so I turned on the ability to CAPTURE SHADOW POKEMON! Hahahaha! Easiest fights ever.
For none, cheating ways.....take your starter and focus on them when it comes to candies and the such. That should make your starter a good 10 or 20 levels higher than anyone else on your team and the trainers you face. Some of those fuckers are still strong enough stat wise to one-shot a pokemon with a move that has a type disadvantage somehow....but it'll make steamrolling much easier. I played the previous versions enough times that I don't care to play fair this time around lol.
Where do you turn on that ability? Because this is my first time basically to encounter a pokemon essentials game
can someone tell me how to evolve feebas? i tried with using a linking cord while he had a prism scale on but it doesn't let me use it on it

debug. There should be an shortcut called debug, start the game with that. While in the game, open the main menu and select "Debug", from there choose "Pokemon options", then "Shadow Pokemon options" and then finally "Toggle Snag Machine".
This will allow you to catch shadow pokemon in trainer battles. If you don't want to fight them at all, add some Ultra or Master balls to your inventory and just immediately throw the ball as soon as they appear.
Wish I could tell you, but I pretty much stop caring about regular pokemon as soon as I gain access to the hybrids.
