I can confirm you can get fire stones with mining, same as other elemental stones. I got Firestone, Thunderstone, Waterstone, Leafstone and Moonstone from the cave in the forest and in the Hidden Cave in Route 4.Yeah, after I got some good sleep I tried it again and solved it instantly. When I'm tired my brain downgrades to that of the average F95zone user.
But one question I have on fire stones. Can you only get them with mining? They seem to be pretty rare. Haven't gotten any so far.
Don't forget you can savescum to reroll what the wall gives you; Rare Bones are easy money, Plates are always welcomed, multiple fossil items are good to have if you want to breed them...and just ignore the Odd Keystone, they are not even worth selling.

And if you are asking cuz you want to use the save file in the message you quoted. Dont. It's an old file and can have some problems with current version.
"Tough" games acc. to RPG players : Enemy 1 shots you and you deal 1 dmg because you didn't grind for 6969 hours.

Are you even aware there is a special trainer in almost every town that allows fast grind?
How more easy can it get? No wonder god mode, who was once a testing tool for creators only, is nowadays a quality of life feature for some special people. Maybe try playing the game first? XD

Cuz there is no new town!
Also, the lag is not due to poor optimalization.

Here is a direct quote from the dev regarding this issue:
Those are all pc issues. What happens is that those specific tiles are the game’s triggers to load the map of the next area.
So the game slows down or hangs in order to load the area.
Whether your RIG is op or not doesn’t matter, its all about the memory space allocated to the OpenGL driver on your comp.
My 5 year old Lenovo legion laptop runs all areas with no lags even when loading Eclipse City, that means the problem lies with the driver, not the computer used.

So I got the message to investigate the mountains but then went to the poachers base first, did that break the event or am I just missing something in the snowline? Also Don't have Asha at the hotsprings...do I have to do something specific to get her there (already did house date)?
I said before that not even other games like Reborn and Realidea System lag for me this much, so this game lagging so much is a legitimate surprise, and it only lagged horribly in the new town. Last time I asked about this someone said that the new town's map was huge and that the game loaded it completely every time you ran it. This wasn't a jab, this was just me continuing off of something somebody said last time I posted on the thread, but ok.Good news! There is no poorly optimized town!

Asha's hot spring event only happens if you have a high enough relationship. You have to talk to her in the beachside cafe after your meeting with Prof. Wormwood. Invite her on a date and she'll show up at the hot spring.
On the contrary, a huge fan of challenging games. Love games like Cuphead, Furi and old school RTS like WC, AOE, etc. where it's just pure skill, no grind will help you. Cuphead, a boss is either 2 mins or 2 hours, depending on how well you play. Not saying all turn based RPGs are grindy af, bit in many RPGs, the "challenge" is "Go back and kill 300 of those weak mobs because you need exp". A boss is 200 hours because you need to grind a thousand levels, skills and strategy be damned.Are you even aware there is a special trainer in almost every town that allows fast grind?

We're not jabbing at you either, just trying to present the info as we understand it. Its not a performance or optimization issue, since everybody experiences it differently.
