did anyone have problems with the quest from the professor when he had to bring his starter pokemon to the cafe?

Funny thing, i talked to the dev 2 days ago about this and he will change wormwoods dialogue so its clear you need to bring the final evolution of your starter

I can't save. Did the mall event with Lopunny. and Save button was gone. went looking through here and saw that it someone said to go to the house in Eclipse. did that....multiple times. even tried doing some of the bedroom events and the gallery to see if that would re-enable it. still gone.
