They'd much rather bitch in threads for hours about how everything is oh-so-hard than git gud.

I could finish this with a starting team easy, it's not hard. It has been ages since I played a pokemon game, (silver...I think). Is there an alt way to earn money I might be unaware of besides trainers and theft TM. I prefer to catch them all, even if it's just an H version.
Also catching only female in case something developes where you can "interact" with your team. But that's probably WAY down the road.

Whatever asset this guy is using for his trainers AI is really rudimentary. Most of the enemies just have 4 attacking moves and use them randomly. You're also given the creators big ass'd OC mon that raises both special stats every time it knocks out something and can raise it's defense by using a move. Just grind that thing up to level 40, which is really easy, and you're good. The game is really only hard because it's artificially hard, it puts big numbers in your way you need to grind to surmount, not any real difficulty from strategy. The pull here is that it has porn I guess. If not for that nobody would give this game the time of day.

Exactly this. It's not a difficulty. It's a grind. It's far more fun to constantly take on gyms/trainers that are 5-10 levels higher than me and use combo's and strategy to surpass instead of just grinding levels.
The people yelling GIT GUD clearly don't know what a difficulty actually means.

That said. I really hope the Dev keeps on this and improves it. I hope they take the criticism to heart and don't just get upset and rage quit. There's some good potential here, they just need to refine it.

I'm a little confused, I saw a lot of people talking about difficulty and all, did we play the same game? Is balanced good enough, if you find strong opponents you just need to train your pokemon as it always has been, if they are too weak, good job you grinded enough for this update.

Btw the Hentai scenes are only of Lopunny ? Or I missed something?

I was mostly joking, but it can't be that hard, right? Just build a good team and abuse weaknesses like in any other Pokemon game.

Basically, people are upset they have to use a healing item in the first fight.

Well for a pokemon game its got good potential, for a H game seems to be more work than its worth. Also being stuck with someone else's name kinda throws off the 'your own adventure' feel and is a put off.

Its a lot faster to "git gud" at cheating.

Depends on what you mean. If you're asking about Yaoi content, the answer is no. But of you're asking whether there will be scenes involving male pokemon, then yes.

Ah, dang... if there's no yaoi content then I don't see a reason to try this one.

It is a good game. Difficulty is good, and I, as an old pokemon player can easily go, it is even easier with such aount of EXP.
A question tho, will we be able to see that rival girl get pounded by some Zebstrika?

I like how there are arguments about difficulty in this thread more than criticism about how the game could be better. Example the first trainer after your rival could have 1 pokemon and if the dev feels mericful have it lvl 7 but if he's wanting it padded go with lvl 9. This adds more of lvl goal if you don't want to catch a mankey and the back to backs are hard especially since the starting potion dies in usefulness at around lvl 12 while opening areas. Personally believe the harsh difficulty should be needed to give the dev time as well as prep time for us when content drops, but yeah think about how one grinds just as much as their need to.

Pokemon fans generally prefer grinding through trainers than by going through the grass so maybe next update the first area is open with that brat acting as a gate keeper to the next area or city with optional trainer battles getting to him.

Really like the idea of the rival romance route. Hope there migth be some other reoccuring characters in the story to do that with. Also, you might want to not name your game Pokemon... you know, just to avoid the lawsuits.

What you say would hold more water if (stay with me here) EVERYONE was unable to beat the game. There are over 20 pages of comments so I wouldn't ask you to go through all of it, but I will reiterate; People know how to beat the game, people have figured out the mechanics, and this game was NOT made for, nor catered to casuals. What you're essentially telling me to do, is to scale back the difficulty to the point of mainstream Pokemon games, which I detest.

I disagree. Once again, The variety of Pokemon you can find in Town and on Route 1 are more than enough to beat the route. And the sheer amount of EXP you get for every battle essentially puts you leaps and bounds ahead very quickly. Once more, I will make it clear that it is virtually impossible for me to tailor the difficulty of the game to suit everyone's needs. If I made it easier, people who like the challenge will complain.

They are free to call it out. Everyone will have an opinion. If they don't like the difficulty, they can just y'know, not play the game. Once again, they are not part of my target demographic. You remind me of those mums and dads in the 90s complaining about the bloodiness and violence of Mortal Kombat when it is clear the game was not made for them.

I am not here to change ANYONE's minds. I'm just here to provide a product geared toward a certain goal, made for certain people. That's all. It is not complicated.


All that aside, I apologise if I sound very flustered or annoyed, because I essentially am. Would word my comments better if I were in a better state of mind.

People being able to beat a game does not make it well-balanced or even well-constructed.
Learn to take criticism, rather than blaming the masses when they state your idea of a 'challenge' isn't so much a challenge as it is a railroad and a ball-gag with a revolver strapped to the back of it forcing you to play your way or the die way.

i think it would be a good idea to bill this game as something more geared towards experienced pokemon fans, as i noticed straight out of the gate in the first fight bruteforcing it wasn't going to win it so i had to make use of the copious amounts of stat debuffs in order to cinch it. that said, when do i get to fuck adalass?

edit: actually are there any h-scenes in this version?

This was a fun quick game. Harder than normal pokemon games, but not unbalanced. Just a steep curve. My only negative at the moment is that there's no scenes with your starter.
