Anyway, only complaint I have is I wish the Gardevoir had a different subtype other than Normal. Something like Dark would have been a good choice considering her...circumstances. Although this is just a personal preference since I like having a team with no overlapping types, so take that as you will. Otherwise, everything has been good so far.

Ok, fair assesment. I too, prefer to have Pokemon of mixed elements on my team, for coverage. However, the next 'Special Event' Pokemon to be introduced is Zoroark, who will be Dark/Posion type. As for Gardevoir, I thought long and hard what typing I would give her to replace Fairy, and Normal seem to be the best fit.


You are correct, Lopunny does cover the Normal typing, but since Gardevoir is primarily SP. Atk based, she can be your counterpart on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Either way, there will be much more than 6 Waifumons with augmented stats, and each one can be a good fit for your team depending on your playstyle/build. Ultimately, you have to swap some of your waifus out and change them around.

I'm not going to talk about battle difficulty, it's a tired argument at this point and clearly the dev isn't budging. I'll just use debug mode or a cheat save someone else makes. But maybe design the dungeons so-to-speak a little better. Also:



Responding to negativity with more negativity will only get people to dislike/hate you. Acknowledging that you're being a dick, and then continuing and doubling down on being a dick, is not the right move.

While I do care about the bugs (which I will fix) I don't care about looking like a dick. I only give dickish responses to people who don't know what constructive criticism is, as well as whiny casuals.

Working a stressful and strenuous day job while also having to tackle the bunch of you is not good for me. If you guys are so adamant about it, I could get somebody much nicer to answer your questions for me. I don't have the proper mental space to handle all this nonsense anyway.

Game's been fun so far. Only complaint is a bug where the hooded figure in the forest won't step aside after he said he would, and now I can't talk to him, and appear to be hardlocked. Any fixes?

Thank you for the explanation. Although I now have to wonder if the hidden grotto (if there are going to be more than one) will be able to fit all the mons in it depending on how many of them will be in the game. (You don't have to give a number, just saying they'll fit/it will be expanded will suffice.)

For those of you who are wondering how to enable debug mode or anything else of the sort there is a wiki for Pokemon essentials which this is built off of. Here is a link to the wiki but I'll put some basic stuff here.

You must be registered to see the links

Pressing F1 allows you to change the keybindings.
F9 is meant to open the debug menu normally but I couldn't get it to work when I tried testing it. In stock Pokemon essentials the debug menu can typically also be accessed by the pause menu but that's not the case here if you run it as is.

There is a way around this by using command prompt to direct it to the game folder with the cd command like this:



This will run the game and you will be able to use f9 to access the debug menu now.

The Hidden Grotto will be expanded in future. There is no fixed number so I'll just make it bigger and bigger the more Waifumons I introduce.

Smogark happy to know that there will be other waifumons not in the human-like egg group. Was one of biggest concerns considering a lot of the mons are conventionally attractive as stated prior. Concern gone now.

Smogark also feel need to tell you that F95 IS technically a pirating site. So will always inevitably be people posting early links for Patreon early access stuff. Would recommend not to worry about really. Think you said Patreon has a week early access. People are stingy, but people also like supporting content if they enjoy it enough. The pirates will pirate, and those that appreciate it will give money for it.
