I like the concept of this game and always am a fan of Skyward's art, but this project definitely felt a lot more dry compared to Project Skyward. There are pieces in the game that just don't seem to matter, like the Luvdisc Token or being locked out of the S-card access even though it feels like we're working our way towards that. There's the kid who steals your pearl necklace too.

The battle system shouldn't be as one sided as it is either. For a collection game, it was pretty bothersome having to stall every boss battle with poison + heals or 2 attacks + heals. The level ups only mattered to keep your Pokemon from being one shot, but they did the same DMG unless there was a random crit. Losing = a white out and the battle system became more of a chore with the H-scene rewards feeling like they "weren't enough".

I know Hot Pink was a side project so I shouldn't expect much, but I feel like this might've been better if it were added to Project Skyward as some type of islander DLC?
Hey, thanks for the feedback!

HotPink served as a testing bed for some newer methods of scripting, designing mini-games, hscene design etc. I spent literally every hour of every day 6 days a week pumping out the latest HotPink update. It is extremely time consuming to rapidly produce art and do game design. I wish I could have worked on the latest Pokemon update a bit longer but we were pretty crunched and have to keep up with our Steam schedule. Also the cunts at stripe blocked our income on itch.io for HotPink donations because it's a NSFW so that kinda hurts haha.

Anyways yea, I don't think it is humanly possible to make HotPink better than it is given the amount of time it was worked on lol. Maybe if I get around to making a third update, I can polish many of the systems and balance it better but given how much of cucks itch.io are I don't see it happening.

I hope the game isn't cancelled or anything like that because this might be the most enjoyable Pokemon RPGM game I've played by far. I'm not even a futa fan (I am a Jessie simp however) and I love the work here.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me TT I really love working on fan games more than anything, the only reason I can't sink more time into it is it isn't financially viable. Maybe in the future if time allows, I can update it for all the pokemon/jessie fans out there <3
