Test the custom girl with the default template conversation in mod tools. If it doesn't work with that then the problem is with the custom girl you are creating. Both templates I created (the ones you're using) are based off of it and it's known to work (check forum). Problems with the GD file tend to cause the game to crash as soon as you click on the girl. The problems you seem to be having (spawing, auditioning etc) mostly relate to the perchar (custom girl file).

Other than you I'm only aware of two others (myself excluded) who have tested/used my templates and you seem to be the only one having problems with them. I'm not sure what other tips I can give you other than testing your custom girl with the default template conversation or creating a new custom girl. If neither resolve your issues then I'm at a loss.

Yep, it worked with default girl. And I'm using photomodel.rar

But when I try to do casting with my own charachters the game crashes when I press "Nice! What are you willing to do?". I tried to change prefs, attributes, bio. Still crashes. But it's not crucial issue cause they can still be hired by personal assistant with casting role.


BTW is there a way to spawn/hire custom male charachters made in "mod tools" when playing as a male charachter?

Are you creating a new girl from scratch or amending an existing one you've imported? I've tried replicating your issue with hiring and the only time I experienced any issue (out of 11 customs) was when I amended traits in an imported girl. (The game crashed when I clicked on her in contacts before I even got to "what are you willing to do?"). Outside of this I don't know what else to try because the GD file is working else you wouldn't have gotten to the stage of having the custom girl in your contacts, so the issue must relate (as far as I can tell) to the perchar (custom girl file).

Yes you can spawn custom male characters, but you will need a matching GD file to avoid crashing. The default conversation template as well as both of mine will work, but you will need to edit/amend the code to avoid crashes if playing as a male trying to recruit a male (e.g remove the "sex" string/command because there's no solo male scenes, no gay scenes and currently no third party you can include in sex). Male trying to recruit male is a bit jinxy still, it sometimes takes weeks for them to spawn and the game only really seems to like them spawning in the gym, beach or bar.
NB: I hope this is still accurate because I haven't created my own custom male in a while and the last one I used was one a friend shared with me in order to recruit a security guard.

Couple of recommendations:

Can there be an option to create scene types/tags with the stats already in the game? Like for eg. there are niche fetishes like old man-teen girl or pretty girl- ugly guy that are maybe too specific a fetish to hardcode into the game but it can be accomplishe fairly easily with a little bit of arithmetic and the present statistics. I guess the challenge will be to make it work with the chemistry/ popularity system.

There can be another business aspect to the studio. Maybe we can alter the studios shooting style to reflect the demographic we wish to attract? Say male or female. There will be little to no competition in catering to female audience since there are so few studios that do serve them but the max fans cap could be low and the build up would be slow. While on the other hand, male audiences will have fast initial buildup, plateau out due to high competition and rise again if you continue to pump out decent scenes. Maybe the studios could have a 'tenderness' slider. The more tender the scene, the more it is geared towards a female audience.

You can meet pregnant females. But the only way to make your pornstars pregnant is to impregnate them by yourself (male MC needed)

Could you please post that working .gd file for cutom male character to spawn and recruit? All I got is a random encounter in the bar with my char and there is no way to recruit him there.

-i deliberately made impossible to recruit males as male mc. to have at least something different if you play as female mc.

Btw it would be great to be able to select Dick and Balls at surgery. Also skin slider doesn't work here (v798_dev2_1)

Could you please post that working .gd file for cutom male character to spawn and recruit? All I got is a random encounter in the bar with my char and there is no way to recruit him there.

Sorry it's not mine and I don't have permisson to share it. If it still works, then it's as simple as removing the "sex" string/instruction from the .gd file and can be done with any .gd.

Look for this in the code and remove it just leaving the end, finished and recruit or add command. If you try to recruit/add a custom male without removing the sex the game will crash unless you are playing as a female and the scene is boy-girl.

If you don't want to play about with editing and testing .gd files then it's better to wait until it's included "offically" in the game. The developer is one of the best (in my experience) at listening to feedback and then trying to incorporate player suggestions, so is probably already working on something to make male-male hiring easier.

EDIT: I just tried this and custom male hadn't spawned after a month (spawned as random event) when playing as male. Also when checking my saves I was playing as a female when I used friend's security guard mod. I tried it playing as male character and custom male didn't spawn. I think spawn points work like boxes and maybe there isn't a a box for male when playing as a male. Can developer confirm?

It makes more sense when you begin to play around with the template. Hope the this cap from one of my recent mods helps to make things clearer.


Start by using the default template to add your own dialogue, then amend the sex scenes. Then you can start adding additonal steps or inserting additional commands. The default conversation template is really useful.

So, I think corrupting your staff is broken. I get a staff member to the point where they'll shoot a b/g scene only to have the game freeze when you return to the office.

Could you put all the customization option sliders into one menu? Or create a separate menu with all the customization options in them? It sucks having to close out of one customization option menu and then switch to another one since sometimes I forget which customization menu has which customization sliders and if I accidentally change the body first I won't be able to change the make-up or tattoo until after they are rehabilitated. Also could you add in an exclusion feature to the game? I know I am never going to use the huge noses, mouths, and eyes so why not have an option to exclude certain options that the player picks from ever showing up? Also I'd like a hair slider to make the dudes chest, arms, legs, or balls hairy. Navel piercings don't match up once the woman becomes pregnant. Vaginal and tongue piercings would be great.
